Edit: 2 stars to 4 stars. The owner Ben reached out advising the company is in the midst of updating the pictures to not include the pink cabbage. He offered a free Bao from the location of my choosing and the quality was good per the usual. Therefore, I have revised my rating due to the great customer service from the owner and as they are remedying the misrepresentation in their images for sale.

I went here on a weekday for lunch for the spicy pork Bao based on what I saw pictured online. When I went to order the staff took their time and was not the most friendly. When I inquired about if the pickled cabbage was included they said it was only what was in the description and the picture were incorrect. I double checked as daikon and cabbage are quite similar and perhaps they made a mistake. They clarified it was not included. I asked if it was possible to add the pickled cabbage as pictured and I would pay however much to have it added. This is when the staff member started getting snippy with me. As I paid and walked away she said under her breath "it was just a picture". In reality this is false marketing and I find it infuriating that they charge $7 for an item not as pictured. There are plenty of other Bao restaurants in the path and I really feel like I wasted my money here instead of supporting another store who actually wants my business. The staff need some training on customer service and the marketing photos need to be updated. I'm happy to revise my review to add back some stars if that happens as the food served here is quite...

I've been to this location over 10 times in the last few months with no issue but today I received the most unprofessional customer service. I ordered what I always do: the spicy mix but with the Ahi Tuna base. The server that took my order understood what I wanted but when she passed my bowl down to the employee that dishes out the toppings, there was some confusion which I tried to clear up politely. As I was explaining my order to the girl with the toppings, another employee emerged from behind her and rudely asked me what was wrong. I repeated my order again and was told “well that’s what she’s doing” to which I responded that it wasn’t because she was putting toppings on my order that I didn’t want. I tried a third time to explain what I wanted to both of these employees and was cut off by an exasperated “oh my god” and eye roll from the toppings girl. This is when I lost my patience and left for a different place where I would be better served. Employees can make or break a business and these two together should not be allowed at the front counter if they can’t keep their...

I started to feel it is a little random, but it is good to try it every now and then… I tried the salmon/tuna mix this time

An update: Second time to eat there - as of today 26 of May: I ordered the classic salmon plate as recommended… the mix is not good and food wasn’t fresh… the taste of pineapple and green beans is irritating and Irrelevant to the mix … I asked for purple rice and noodle as a base and this was not the best neither

First time to eat there … so I was faced with too many choices… I ordered the veggie platter, most of the ingredients was unknown to me but it was a Good mix anyways… it was lunch time and there was a long line up so I didn’t feel at ease to ask many questions … main component is avocado 🥑 which it had plenty of it in my plate

Veggie is my favorite for now as I haven’t tried anything...

Lacking flavor and basic poke. Nothing special. The Hot mix has kimchee and the flavor makes no sense at all. I love kimchee but it’s lacking. The other nearby poke places all outshine this. I got major attitude from the assembly nice girl when I asked for a few different toppings. She looked at my like I was ruining her vibe because I had a question. I get that she is trying to go fast - but it’s my first time and I literally just wanted to add a bit of extra toppings!! Terrible customer service. It’s only getting 3 star because it failed at least two of the criterion: flavor, customer service. Manager should help the team Tighten up the attitudes!
