Read moreThe menu is all about sandwiches - 6 different sandwiches with a variety of flavors. Equivalent to about the size of half a hot dog, these sandwiches are filled with Egyptian-style meats and veggies, like Ferakh (grilled chicken) and Taameyya (falafel).
I decided to get the Tut's Plus Combo - which included 4 sandwiches of my choice, a side of fries and a drink; all for 20 bucks - what a deal.
The Ferakh - grilled chicken w/ onions, coriander, garlic sauce and coriander garnish.
The Soguk - grilled beef sausage w/ caramelized onion, sumac and a mustard mint sauce.
The Kofta - grilled minced beef w/ pickled cucumbers, tahini and parsley garnish. Those pickled cucumber add just the right tang to this sandwich.
The Taameyya - falafel w/ garlic tomato, tahini and coriander garnish.
And finally fries that are seasoned with Dukka, an Egyptian blend of herbs and spices was the perfect side to the four sandwiches. Add in the garlic sauce and you have a meal fit for a Pharoah - or Pharoahess.
These sandwiches maybe be small but they are jam packed with mighty flavours wrapped in super soft and fluffy buns. My personal favorites were the Soguk and Kofta.

Read moreMy first experience was nothing short of incredible! I ordered the Tut's Plus Combo and immediately fell in love with all the sandwiches. Especially the beef sausage, and falafel.
I found the packaging alone was very neat. And the fries is an absolute delight! It alone is reason to come back.
I tried the halva sandwich not really sure what it was, and actually found it very interesting. It tastes like something between honey and pistachios in a sandwich, yet it isn't too sweet either.
I reordered a second time for a small dinner get together and received none of my side orders, and received 3 kofta and 1 grilled chicken sandwich.
Edit: I have since worked it out with the restaurant, and I am honestly very impressed with their commitment to customer service. It happens too often that a single customer's feedback is overlooked and merely swept under the rug but their effort to reach out, that alone speaks volumes. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my review and clarify the matter.
I have since eaten from here twice more, and each time I find something new to love...
