We have Been to this place a couple of times this year and used to like this secret spot that is open late, but yesterday one employee was super rude, we were seating in the bar and were hoping to go to a table if one becomes available and when a group of 3 left on one of the tables, we decided to move there, so I went to seat at the table and save the spot (like you would do in a bar) and one of the servers literally scream at me stopping me and saying that I couldn’t seat there because another couple (that were already seating on another table ask for that specific table) now how am I supposed to know that given that is a bar! You seat wherever you want, however, it is not about them not allowing me to seat there but how rude the guy scream at me(if staff would have kindly advised us to go to other seating because that table was “reserved”I wouldn’t even bother to make a review but I feel is very disrespectful to go out to a bar and have fun and be treated like that by on of the staff.And also how would we know you guys save tables ? Usually that is really uncommon in a bar and I would guess even more uncommon in such a small venue like this. situation like this should be handle differently because is not a restaurant! is a bar, if a group ask to change tables I would kindly explain that because is a bar we cannot guarantee any seating but as soon as you see the table available quickly change right away and that’s it, for sure if I were in a restaurant I would never change my spot at all because you are not supposed to do that in restaurants unless you ask, but in a bar, well that never happened to me before.other server working there which i think is the owner is nice though! Read moreI came in lastnight with my friends. We come all the way from Victoria and really wanted to eat at your restaurant. We got to the door and the lady that was working, was not nice to us at all. My friends and I go to restaurants all the time and we’ve never experienced service like hers before. I told the lady that I was with 5 people and she told me that we couldn’t sit because they didn’t have room when I could see open spots. After sending my friends and I away, I watched her storm over to a gentleman who I assumed also worked there. They both proceeded inside the restaurant. The gentleman brought us menus and I explained our trouble. The man was super understanding and super helpful to us. He managed to get all of us sat quickly, served us and gave us the best experience. This man was covered in tattoos and wearing a bandana. He was so nice to use , was constantly checking on us to make sure we were. It felt really nice. After apologizing for our trouble the gentleman continued to stay with us and had a conversation that really make us feel welcomed back. That tattoo guy was absolutely amazing and helpful. Read moreOne of the worst serviced dining experiences I’ve had in years. We got sat, waited 15-20 mins before any type of order was taken, during that time zero orders were being cooked the cook was just hanging out. Only one cook and one server so definitely understaffed but even still, the server was ignoring us, clearing tables, sitting more tables doing just about anything but coming to take our order even for drinks. He then finally took our order, waited at least 30 mins for food. He even had the audacity to ask us to move seats so he could fit more people which I have no idea why as he was clearly in over his head already. 2 of the tables who sat 15 mins after we arrived and ordered well after us both got there food first. There were about 8 burritos sitting for an extremely long time under the heater ready to go but he wasn’t bringing them out to people, then I assume he delivered them from the wrong end, but then ours finally came last I asked for the bill right away as this had already taken was too much time and basically ruined our experience.
