Wonderful café in Santiago. We visited several times and were never disappointed. I have a few items of American style breakfast, but the rest of the menu is also very good. There is no “breakfast“ time and all items on the menu can ordered throughout the day. They have some amazing espresso-based coffees. We had a latte, cappuccino and mocha. All were done in impeccably and the mocha was not overly sweet. There are three hamburger sliders were incredibly good. I was not anticipating how amazing the pink one would be, but was pleasantly surprised. The Poké bowl, sangria and wine were also very good. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Calderon during my trip to Santiago, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided top-notch service throughout my meal. Each dish was a masterpiece, from the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses. Soy una persona que no se deja llevar por las apariencias, pero debo admitir que me sentí encandilado al admirar su menú, fui con la misma ilusión que un niño, aunque, al final, la experiencia no me convenció. Para empezar, el brunch para 2 es, en realidad, para una sola persona, a menos que estés enfocado en consumir pocas calorías. No es tan contundente como uno podría esperar, y aunque la presentación es impecable, el precio no corresponde a la comida en sí, sino más bien a la estética del lugar y a su cuidada imagen. Y eso me lleva a mi siguiente punto: el local es hermoso, con asientos cómodos y una estética "instagrameable" muy contemporánea, los precios del resto del menú están bien, nada exagerado, y los tragos son planos y simples, sin mayor sorpresa. Pero el verdadero problema de este lugar es su atención al público. Una desastrosa combinación de tiempos de espera absurdos y una pésima disposición de los meseros. No solo me trataron mal(respuestas secas y desagradables)(me tiraban la boleta encima), sino que cada vez que fui (cuatro veces en total), la experiencia al cobrar fue inolvidable por lo desagradable. El "precio total" que me decían incluía, sin consultarme, la propina, solo la pagué la primera vez por descuido, pues me agarró desprevenido. Aun así, es probable que vuelva.
