We’ve tried a few restaurants in Puerto Natales and so far this is one of the better ones. The restaurant is divided into two parts. To the right of the entrance is the sit down restaurant with seating arrangements. The left one is a cute small cafe with coffee options, dulces, breads, calzones and eating options too. The display cases looked very inviting and the friendly server explained all desserts to us. Visited this twice during our trip and both times for coffee. The first day we had cappuccino with Klafu and Hojarasca. Hojarasca was warm and served with ice cream - was excellent. This was my first time trying klafu and found it a little dry. Both of them were huge pieces and very filling. Coffee was a little expensive but was very good. It’s spacious and offers a good varied menu for all tastes. Everything is from scratch. They have Handmade chocolates too. Staff was helpful and one of the servers could speak little bit English which got us through. The second day we returned for coffee again and had a small cookie (do not remember the name) with it. The server told us that the owner of this place has travelled to many countries including U.S. 5 stars...
Read more'Average' is truly the best description of my experience here. I walked by it multiple times and the menu looked very enticing. I got my friends together for a meal, and half the menu was not available. The meal was good, but I think I enjoyed the company more than anything. The tuna steak was very good! I went back again on my last day with a friend to celebrate his birthday, ordered the salmon and it came undercooked. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he took it into the kitchen, and brought it back over cooked. I told the waiter and he took it away and brought nothing back. It was a little surprising to see it on the bill, when more than half was left. I mentioned it to who seemed like the owner/manager, she asked me where I was from, then walked away and wouldn't speak to us. Not big on writing negative reviews, but this experience left me sour. (Also don't get...
Read moreHorrendously overpriced! This is a review for the coffee shop attached to the restaurant. I decided to get some snacks for my next day hike to the Torres base. What you can see in the photo are a chocolate muffin, a small biscuit/cookie and one carne and one chicken filled pastry.
The total cost was 18,900 Chilean pesos or approximately £19/$23! Had i not already taken a bite out of a pastry I would not have paid. Prices were not listed anywhere apart from for the hot drinks which were around £4/5 from a machine which in hindsight should have acted as a warning.
The food itself, not terrible but distinctly average, forgettable fare. This was fine Parisian patisserie prices for average stodge. I expected a mark up for a tourist town but this was my fault for paying, i suggest you don't as this place is a genuine,...
