If you call that a Indian resursunt then I am not Indian any more.
Let's talk about food. Pros- waiter could speak English.
Cons- was served a yellow curry dish with rice and chapati. Never in my 25 year of life, I have eaten a curry consisting of corns, tomato, capsicum and mushroom that too sweet and after taste of Garam Masala. Bro that's not Indian food. Just putting garam masala on boiled vegetables doesn't make it Indian. Naan - it wasn't a roti, it wasn't a Naan, it was something else. pretty sure the cook is not an Indian.
Environment- The waiter, a local, greeted me, told me about the specials and everything, that too in ENGLISH. Walls are painted darkish yellow color doesn't felt like I am at an Indian resursunt. What makes an Indian resuraunt isn't necessary the food or the decor but the energy. I have been to Indian resturaunts all around the globes be it Bolivia, USA, Thailand, heck even in egypt, always the owner if he is an Indian will greet me, and would talk on how come I am in the country but here that wasn't the case. The owners didn't care even though I left 80% of the food on my plate, They didn't mind. Pretty sure they are not Indians because we are not like that.
I got fooled thinking this was a good resursunt because of the 4.7 star rating and literally everyone saying good food in reviews. Guys this isn't the food you get in India. People giving it 5 stars because they haven't had Indian food before .
If you are an Indian or of any Nationality, you can skip this so called Indian Resuraunt. This...
Read more🙌🏼 LOVE this place 😍 not super spicy even when asking for it muy picante, but that seems to be a regional norm in Santiago. I did try my friends veggie curry and that had the most heat so I’ll be getting that next time!
🐔 The chicken curry was still delicious and flavorful, and I would consider the best idea if you want some spicy heat to be to share the chicken curry and veggie curry with a friend. Both come with rice and a good portion size.
👍🏼The samosas were delicious too and I’d recommend them as a starter! It comes with 6 and they have a spicy sauce on the side.
🏃🏽♂️Very small and busy (as obviously it’s quite popular) so ask to get it to go and enjoy it in the...
