Inquilino — Restaurant in Valparaíso

We came here for a quick stopover for a glass of wine and a dessert before our bus to Santiago

After we were seated and a waiter came and asked us to take our order, we let him know we needed some more time as we needed to translate the menu and also we asked if a table became free on the terrace if we could move outside and we were told yes

We moved outside to a table and from then on we received little to no service. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned as it was covered in food. Even when we asked the staff seemed shocked we were asking this? Another waiter spilled a glass of coke over my friends handbag and didn’t even apologise. He ran inside and came out and proceeded to clean the floor rather than give my friend anything to dry her handbag with. Eventually after a long wait we gave our order. We ordered two desserts, two glasses of wine and a beer

The food came after a wait. The dessert was very nice. Our drinks never turned up and again there was absolutely no apology for this when we said they never came. We were tight for time and had to pay and it seemed that the waiters were prioritizing every single other task than allowing us to pay and get to our bus

Overall nice dessert and good views but some of the worst service I’ve ever encountered which would lead me to say avoid this place, there are better...

I went here to eat with my family, and after 25 minutes waiting for our order they came back to tell us that they were running out of bread. We decided stay there anyways and just get the beverage. After another 20 minutes they told us that they were running out of one of the ingredients to prepare the drink for my daughter. After this, we decided to leave! They did not give us any acceptable explanation, the lack of professionalism and disrespect is a big one in this establishment. Had nice views and service but trust the other reviews... Would not recommend the reinetta seafood with potatos dish. The shrimp and fish tasted like salty shoe leather, clams were not purged filled with sand and been around the world and never seen mussels so starved they were a thin membrane on...
