This pizzeria serves very thin crust pizzas that are crispy and quite tasty. Unlike a lot of other pies, the crust on these pizzas don’t rise on the edges. If that’s what you are into you may find these disappointing but I felt that the crisp more than makes up for it.

They offer a good number of vegetarian pies, and even vegan cheese options. If you are looking for gluten free, they have that too.

I ordered for pick up, so don’t have much to say about the space or service, other than it was packed on a Thursday night so be ready to wait 15/30 minutes for a table. El Tío Tomate Mañío, sucursal de una cadena, se encuentra en una atractiva ubicación en Vitacura; sólo así se explica la fuerte demanda de la clientela, en su mayoría joven. La comida no puede ser la razón. Un servicio sobrecargado lleva a la mesa del comensal platos mediocres que intentan parecerse a la cocina italiana. Según tengo entendido, el ceviche tiene que cocinarse en frío durante mucho tiempo antes de servirse; eso no puede ser cosa del comensal. En definitiva, no una buena relación entre servicio y precio, una velada culinaria ruidosa y desagradable. No se recomendaron.

Tío Tomate Mañío, a branch of a chain, is in an attractive location in Vitacura - this is the only explanation for the strong demand from the mostly young clientele. The food cannot be the reason. Overworked service brings mediocre dishes to the guest's table that try to look like Italian cuisine. As I understand it, ceviche must be cooked cold for an appropriate length of time before being served - that cannot be the guest's job. All in all, not a good relationship between service and price, a noisy, culinary unpleasant evening. You did not recommend yourself.

Das Tío Tomate Mañío, Filiale einer Kette, befindet sich in einer attraktiven Lage in Vitacura - nur so ist die starke Nachfrage des meist jungen Publikums zu erklären. Das Essen kann nicht der Grund sein. Ein überforderter Service bringt mittelmäßig zubereitete Speisen auf den Tisch des Gastes, die versuchen nach italienischer Küche auszusehen. Nach meinem Verständnis muß Ceviche vor dem Servieren entsprechend lange kalt gegart werden - das kann nicht Aufgabe des Gastes sein. En este sitio, la comida que ofrecen en el menú coincide con lo que te sirven. Las pizzas estan muy buenas, hay variedad de opciones tanto para los fieles (margarita) como para los osados y con gustos por experimentar. Ofrecen variedad de cervezas artesanales, las cuales se sirven frías. Tienen una buena coctelería tanto de autor, como tradicional y coctelería sin alcohol.hay opciones veganas, sin lactosa en el menú. Con respecto al ambiente, esta bien para conversar y pasar el rato. Gran parte del restaurante se encuentra al aire libre en un bulevar por lo que habrá mucho tránsito de personas, y no es raro que te interrumpan tu velada vendedores ambulantes o alguna persona pidiendo limosna (esta bien, personalmente a mi me molesta esto justo al momento de comer... no me gusta que me interrumpa nadie). La atención esta ok, los camareros o garzones conocen bien el menú, conocen las bebidas. Te atienden muy bien al momento de pedir la comida, pero en mi caso particular, tardaron mucho en llevarme la cuenta (prefirieron cobrar a varias mesas antes que a nosotros, aunque nosotros pedimos la cuenta antes que todos). Los baños están muy limpios, y se pueden utilizar sin problema. El baño de caballeros está en el 2do pido, así que tome precauciones, si va a tomar para curarse. En general la pase bien, volvería a ir. Mis observaciones me parecen que son puntuales y no tienen porque repetirse, pero les cuento en forma transparente mi experiencia...
