Manger asked for a revision to my review: The waitress specifically asked me to sign a receipt with USD total underlined without informing me that I would be charged in USD rather than HK dollars. Make it transparent to customers that you are trying to rip them off on the exchange rate! Then it will be a "fair" deal if the customer agrees to an unfavorable exchange rate (7.51 HKD/USD instead of the going rate of 7.85HKD/USD.). So, if did not protest, instead of paying USD 23.82 (HKD 187--lamb vindaloo, naan, raita, and small beer), I would have paid USD 24.87). It may not matter for customers with small bills, but who would want to pay USD 1.05 fee for the "privilege" of paying in USD? The management knows exactly what they are doing and it is a an unfair practice. Food is ok, although expensive for a place like this. What totally spoiled my experience was the moment of payment. This restaurant tries to trick foreign credit card holders to pay in their home currency at a very unfavorable exchange rate. Beware and insist to pay in HK dollars. Unfortunately, this is a global scam allowed by visa and others. But honest places don't...

I ordered to go 1 Lamb Biryani with Salad at its outlet at G04, Wan Chai Central Building on 89 Lockhart Road to have it in my hotel room. The service was swift.
The Lamb Biryani was really hot, tasty and delicious. You could taste the spices absorbed in the rice and lamb pieces. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The lamb pieces were tender. The mixed salad and the sauce that was smothered onto it was fresh, crispy and delicious. The portion was generous and filling.
My humble opinion - I highly recommend the Lamb Biryani with Salad. Although it is tagged at HKD$99 per order, which is nearly 4 times the price tag for the same food from where I am from, it was worth the...
Read moreDeliveroo told me that Ebenezers does not deliver to causeway Bay, from wanchai, which is really near so I think that is terrible. I got an mtr to Ebenezers and placed my order, told them about the problem with deliveroo. They really didn't care. They said they did deliver, when I showed the app not allowing it, they stared blankly like I was crazy, then said 'yes we deliver to cwb'. I asked them to try to order food using my app, they just stared blankly at me like I was mental.
This reminds me of a previous time I was at ebenezers and a homeless man told me that he was Michael Jackson and also Madonna. Perhaps ebenezers have so many crazy customers, they now treat everyone like they are crazy.
I purchased a chicken kebab with extra meat, plus an additional box of meat. It tasted very nice. The customer service was like what I would expect from a care home for the mentally ill, a cheap care home, where they don't change your adult diaper for...
