I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago to have dinner. The restaurant is somewhat difficult to locate as it is situated inside a supermarket on a lower floor. However, upon arrival, I found the restaurant to be packed with patrons. We placed our order, which consisted of the original beef burger, the fish burger with onion rings, regular French fries, garlic Parmesan fries, and some soft drinks.
The staff at the counter were extremely nice and polite when taking our order. Our food was ready within 5 minutes and it arrived hot and fresh. The original burger was decent, but nothing particularly special. I would suggest that they consider lowering the price of the original burger to better match its taste and quality. On the other hand, the fish burger was outstandingly tasty! The onion rings were quite good, but the other fries tasted similar to those found in any fast food restaurant.
Overall, it was a decent experience! If the restaurant could slightly reduce their food prices, I believe more people would be inclined to dine there. We paid approximately $328 HKD for three different combos, which is a...
Read moreI love Triple O's so I come here often to satisfy my burger cravings. Admittedly $52 is quite expensive for a burger especially in a fast food chain where the seating is not intended for a long stay. Anyway I love trying prawn burgers so I decided to try it.
The Prawn burger I had recently was at Bowl burger which was also quite expensive, however it tasted really similar to the Prawn and sesame toasts that you get at Chinese restaurants overseas!!
Anyway, the presentation of this one on the poster was really similar to the fish burger with a piece of lemon.
The prawn patty was quite thin but there were quite a few whole pieces of prawn in it.
The burger was a heavily toasted soft bun that went quite flaky after toasting, one side of the bun was slightly burnt.
The bun was smothered with tartar sauce and lettuce slapped on.
After adding the lemon it tasted really nice and I also added extra white...
Read moreTriple O’s at Admiralty has good burgers, ok fries but excellent milkshake. The milkshake is what I go there for as it’s as close to those I find in North America as I can in HK. I had the fish burger, the garlic Parmesan fries and a strawberry milkshake in a bring-my-own-bottle.
The fish burger was nice and crunchy though the fillet could have been bigger. It came with a wedge of lemon which was a nice touch.
The fries were just so-so. Very limp with the garlic mayonnaise. Maybe I should have ordered the normals instead, which would have come in a paper container instead of a plastic one.
The milkshake was excellent. Cold with fresh strawberries and made with nice creamy ice cream. I love it that the attendant took my bottle without batting an eye, given how this is yet to become a common practise in HK. I took the milkshake with me to finish up in the office. Such...
