Cravings (Halal Food) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

In short i will say they are a small group of team who leaves powerful impression. 1st thing i noticed was how they greeted every customer warmly. It felt like i just entered a 5* hotel & my host was very welcoming. They took the time & care to explain to us the foreign menu we were looking at. Despite being a small eatery, i was amazed at their service. Both our food came at same time. All 3 dishes came out same piping hot. Their personal style/effort/etiquette would make Gordon Ramsay smile quietly😝 Food presentation made me smile widely. I felt like i was in some Michelin star restaurant. Im quite a picky eater & its rare that i finish any food. I could feel/taste the effort in the Chef’s cooking with every bite. During my short 3day work visit there, i went there TWICE. Thats how good it was. It felt like good old homecooked meal presented like some 5* display. I also must add how i noticed they used some premium ingredients or i should say they are not the basic salt-sugar-coloring kind of cooks. I was also amazed by how diligent/observant the owner was. He noticed us coming in via his cctv & immediately encouraged staffs to treat us with great care. Im a sucker for details so i really saw it all✌️I was also lucky to get a taste of chef’s speciality dessert. I doubt so its on the menu but thats how special i felt when i had my meals there. What an amazing place! I came here twice in 2 days. The first time with my partner, and our experience was so good we decided had to come with our family.

Of course, the highlight is the momo platter, with the delicious chutney. As well as this, everything else was amazing; we ordered the lamb samosas, the butter chicken curry, the biryani, saag paneer, wings, (basically everything on the menu!). The menu is also very large, and can accommodate any taste, even the fussiest of people.

The service from Anup and Annie Mary was top notch, and of course the chefs were amazing! Best of all, you can get the best food in HK for half the price of any restaurant. They should charge higher!

10/10 for anyone...

Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, and we were all horrified by the cleanliness issues we encountered. There were multiple flying cockroaches buzzing around our table—not just one or two, but many. At one point, we joked that another one would appear, and sadly, we were right.

What was even more alarming was the sight of cockroaches in the kitchen, visible from the mirror. This made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.

We were really looking forward to our meal, but the lack of cleanliness overshadowed everything. I hope the management addresses these issues, as it’s unacceptable for any dining...
