M Garden Vegetarian — Restaurant in Kowloon

M Garden has a convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from both Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei stations. The restaurant is situated within the Omega Plaza commercial building, accessible via a lift from the back entrance lobby.

M Garden offers a delightful fusion of traditional Chinese flavors with influences from around Asia. The menu features a diverse selection, including Japanese udon, Malaysian curry, Singaporean vermicelli, Thai tom yum soup, and Japanese sushi.

The Thai-style steamed tofu fish is highly recommended. Served on a hot platter, the tangy tamarind flavor really makes it stand out. If I really had to be picky, I would prefer to have a little more spice in the dish. But it’s already an amazing work of art.

The menu is conveniently available in English, making it easy for tourists and ethnic minorities to navigate and order.

I love mapo tofu as a vegan so i went there to have their vegetarian mapo tofu ( i clarified with them if it’s vegan or not) it was delicious and just perfect at first but after eating it for more than 5 minutes i could not feel my tongue it did not taste spicy at first but my tounge was completely numb after that and I tried drinking oat milk to wash the numbness away but I could not taste and feel the oat milk on my younger! maybe it is because of the chinese pepper thing but if you like this feeling, this restaurant is for you. One of the few vegetarian dim sum places in Hong Kong that's Bhuddist diet friendly too. The dim sum was somewhat tasty and not too greasy. Their signature dish was the vegetarian char siu "luncheon" buns - though the bun itself was a bit on the heavy side. Shanghai wontons in soup was good. We also ordered vegetarian siu mai, deep fried wonton and lotus leaf glutinous rice wrap.

Staff were very busy and there wasn't much in terms of service. The place was full for the Sunday lunch service.
