Heard this is one of Anita Yuen and Julian Cheong favourites. Many would describe this as a Malaysian fusion restaurant. I beg to disagree. Other than the peppery soup that they call Rou Gu Cha and the Coconut Jam sandwich, there is nothing Malaysian here.
That said, the food is good. Especially their eponymous Crispy Fried Egg Meat Patty Rice bowl. Really good. And the Shanghai Dumplings dunked in peppery soup is also unique in taste and bring a new breath of life over a traditional dish.
The Chee Cheong Fun with Egg can be omitted. Nothing special.

The back kit teh is not really Malaysian or Singaporean .. kinda an adapted one. Food in general was good, portion is small and can try different dish. Read moreIt’s a very small shop with limited seating, so you may have to wait outside for a bit . The shop has a old school hole in a wall theme with neon signs. I ordered a noodle soup, boiled veges, rice noodle rolls and pork patty +fried egg on rice. As other reviews have commented, the rice dish is a typical comfort food dish complemented with chilli sauce sitting on the tables. It was really nice and just very wholesome.
