This is my second time coming to this specific location, but fourth time coming to Paradise Dynasty. Every single one of my experiences were nothing less than perfect. This time I went during afternoon tea, and the price is amazing for the high quality food they serve. One of their best dishes is obviously their award winning Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao. Is one thing to serve delicious food, is an entire different level when the dish comes with instructions of the order of which the Xiao Long Bao should be eaten to maximize the taste of each specialty Xiao Long Bao. This is the ultimate form of attention to detail. The staff here were also extremely hospitable and attentive, always refilling our tea with new warm tea throughout our meal. This is truly a superb experience, thank you very much, Paradise Dynasty.

Dining here is like like dining in a high-end chinese restaurant. Prices are not your typical budget friendly. It's more on the higher side. So if you want to splurge a little, it's a good restaurant to go to. Ordered a lot. But I didn't take pictures. We order the original soup xio long bao it was good but not the best ( din tau fung take the best). Pecking duck is cold and dry and not a lot of meat but Flavorful. The baos are good. The noodles are good The best one for me is the desserts. Warm and soft and gooey glutinous rice balls with black sesame filling and peanut powder. Heavenly! Over all will not go to this restaurant in hongkong because apparently they have a brand in BGC manila.

We’ve been to the one in Bali and love the Xiao Long Pao so we decided to come here. After been to Din Dai Fung, we realised that the Xiao Long Pao at Paradise Dynasty could be a bit tastier than Din Dai Fung but the down side was that they break easily leaving you no juice to enjoy the dumplings which is what the dumplings are famous for. Apart from their awarded dumplings, they also have a good range of Chinese dishes. Service wise wasn’t that great. Staff wasn’t that friendly and the food takes a longer time to serve. Be mindful that the moment you were seated, the staff will bring a pot of hot tea and a bowl of dish. I’m not quite sure what they are but it looks like a cold dish which you will be charged HK$15 per bowl. Also, all diners will be charged a serve of tea regardless (even children age 3) which cost HK$8 per diner. Overall food wise is not too bad and if you can put up with the typical Honkers attitude and the above average price then no harm to give this place a try.

The roast duck was tough & boney; not very much to eat, and I would strongly recommend avoiding that. Even if you love duck as I do, you might find it very, very disappointing. It seemed to be smoked, which wasn't mentioned in the menu. Smoked duck would be okay too, but it was just too tough, dry, boney, and a small portion. The service was pretty bad; the lady next to us who was there before us had ordered the same dish as we did. They gave us hers, making her wait extra long. They also wouldn't accommodate a tweak we requested to dessert (swap dumpling type/soup) Dan dan noodles and xiao long bao were okay... so it's not all bad. Just mostly bad.

This Mong Kok branch is not as good as the other branches in Causaway Bay and Airside. Our 2 bowls of noodles arrived first, long before our cold appetizer and our dumplings and main dishes. So by the time we ate the noodles, which was at the end of our meal it was ice cold and gluey. Our cold appetizer tasted like they came straight from the refrigerator rather than being at room temperature, so the food was hard. Overall our dishes and services was fine, nothing special. Our 5 seater table was too small for us to put all our dishes with all the teapots and condiments, the plates felt cramped but the seating was fine. The Zhao Long Bao is good.

I came here to celebrate my mom's birthday while we were on holiday in HK. Beware that they serve you some peanut snacks and tea without asking if you want it or even tell you that it's included, you get charged for it. The dishes came quicker than 4 bowls of boiled rice which took them 16 mins to come out. We asked 3 waiters for the rice and we were told it was coming and by the time the rice came 16 mins later, the dishes were all cold. Dishes taste alright, but service wise is below average. Only came because we wanted to try some Shanghai food but left disappointed 😞💔
