EAT ME Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kowloon

Overall, the food was alright, but the service we got was horrible. There was this trainee that didn't know how to be a server. When we first got there, mind you, there were empty tables, the server lectured us about how we showed up late for our reservation, and said they will not honor the 90 minutes. Normally, stores would've cancelled your reservation after 15 minutes, and treat you as a walk in. They probably didn't because they didn't need that table, but then should've treated us as a walk-in.

Then, we we're crammed next to the kitchen. The server bumped into my friend when walking from the kitchen, and lectured him to move in his chair. Don't seat us there if it is not going to work for you.

One of my friends asked for another knife. After the server brought it to us, she showed us that there is another knife in the basket and lectured us about checking below the napkins.

In terms of food, the lamb pizza was gamy, the buffalo chicken wings was still pretty red inside, and the fries were overcooked (too hard). Otherwise, the flavoring was alright. But for Mongkok, the prices...

I always like to give new things a try. But I definitely was disappointed about this place. The plates serving the food was dirty and oily. Soup was mild warm, they were pretty under staff so the way they managed was pretty bad. Full house with 2 staff 1 of them I guess was new. The worst part was the manager. He was constantly Yelling at the staff in open area. Staff are your greatest asset if they do things wrong, move to the side and speak to them. If you are under staff don't accept...

Pros: Central location, not a bad view, friendly pricing.

Cons: Small portions, lower quality of food, mediocre service.

My spaghetti bolognese was almost bland and tasteless. Gave suggestions to manager: just said okay and nothing done to resuscitate the situation.
