Why am I reviewing Makku?

Being the nearest to our accommodation at Oasis Avenue, it's a ritual to eat breakfast at Mac at least once per trip.

First of all, pork patties. Second, macaroni. Third, the seasonal promotions.

It's McD x New Jeans for this moment (November 2023).

We made a total of 4 trips to try all the items as shown in this post, if not more. Like Hotcakes series from McCafe and Rich Tomato Soup Twisty Pasta.

Post pandemic, and like SG, they have moved on to table service and kiosk and app ordering.

It's a busy McDonald's at midnight on a Friday, but despite the high turnover, they managed delivery dried out burgers that seemed to be sitting in tray for a long time and cold French fries.

Usually when you see high turnover at a fast food restaurant, you can expect the food to be freshly cooked. But for some reason that wasn't so here, and the entire experience was lacking because of it.

Adequate seating, 24 hour operation and good location are saving graces, yet still I don't feel that I can recommend this McD with 3 others and 2 KFCs within walking...

Horrendous experience. I looked forward to the trip but was verbally and physically abused by a racist man and his wife who illegally took picture of us simply because we “make other customers waiting” and “I am Asian”. When we tried to defend us and demanded deleting the picture and man shoot at us “fuck off” and so on which is pure discrimination and racism. Before we were forced to leave, during this whole process, no manager came to defend our security and handle this horrible abuse. Our good mood was completely ruined. Will never...
