Ruby Tuesday (Tsim Sha Tsui) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Such A unequal treatment! Yesterday I went to eat at this Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant. Initially, I saw a female staff member ask a male customer, "Is the food good?" I was sitting nearby and heard him reply "It’s delicious." Instantly, I thought it must be decent.

When ordering, dishes were mostly $200+, Members get half-price discounts. The same female staff member handled our entire meal from ordering to payment.Here’s the problem. Throughout the meal, she repeatedly pressured me to buy the membership for $1500, calculating how "worth it" it would be. I consistently said I didn’t need or want to join at all Food issues The lobster mac and cheese seemed like it had been sitting out and reheated. The seafood lobster pasta was cold. Daily soup (seafood bisque ) was lukewarm (no issue since I didn’t request it hot). Total bill: over $1000

The breaking point: When we check out, she asked again: "Do you want to join?" I refused. Then came the key moment she said Do you think it’s too expensive?Even if I genuinely couldn’t afford it, that’s my personal choice! My last visit R. T. was years ago Shatin, it was poorly run & place was tight & small. This TST K11 store revisit was enjoyable! Receptionist Hidy friendly, eager to please, attentive, breathe of fresh air! Store has high ceiling, spacious, more updated design still carries touch of family restaurant. We ordered bottle of Prosecco to start, crab cake & 1/2 rack ribs with classic sauce, both yum. I guess the chain had gone throu series of changes to be competitive these days, have to!
