I came here alone for lunch on Easter. There was no queue which was nice. The servers were very attentive and nice. I don’t think they felt comfortable with English though. I asked for a vegetarian option as I saw they had something in the past. Apparently, the vegetarian tofu ramen is only seasonal (winter) ramen. Therefore, the server recommended a “lo mien” ramen so not a broth based with an egg instead of the Cha Siu (an earth ramen). When the ramen arrived the server recommended me trying it with some condiments. I wished I had mixed the noodles up before adding condiments but either way the noodles tasted yummy with the poached egg helping it be “saucy.” There was a slight broth at the bottom with was soya sauce based and I had put a little bit of the sesame dressing. The reason for not 5 star was that the ramen was not consistent in the chewiness and because of not having a vegetarian option. You can see the thicker cut strands tasting slightly crunchy which possibly could be due to not having a broth too. I love the atmosphere and service here but for a trendy restaurant like this I feel like they should have an option for vegetarians. I would come back if Im...

Every once in a while I need a ramen fix. I've walked past Ramen Kureha countless times because I drink often with my friends in that area. Finally got to try!

Unlike most ramen shops that use packaged gyoza, they make their own. Finely minced pork with cabbage. Appreciate that they don't put too much MSG inside.

Their ramen is a customized bowl which you may also choose richness of the broth and thickness of the noodles etc.

The Tonkotsu broth was rich and creamy without adding much dashi or soup concentrate. Real flavor and texture from the bones!

On top of the two pieces of tender fatty charsiu included in the set, you may add one more topping like seared charsiu, onsen/marinated egg and beef tongue, etc. You may also drop the drink in the set to exchange for one more topping. Such a great deal!!!

Fried wings were stuffed with mentaiko and minced meat. Thin crispy batter and not oversalted.

Will try their new menu crab ramen loaded with the seasonal hairy crab meat and roe. Overall good value for money. Excellent...

Walked passed this ramen shop randomly and was attracted by their store front decor, backstory of the shop owner. There is about sesting for 22 at small wood tables and 4 window bar seats. Lots of vintage trinklets of toys and memobilias of the 70/80s.

I ordered their white chicken broth ramen with an onsen egg and beef tongue. You can choose your noodles' texture (well cooked to al dente), thickness of broth. Lunch set comes with 1 topping item and soft drinks.

Broth was definitely the star for the ramen - a velvety flavour bomb . Special mention to the onsen egg - the flavoring was on point. Beef tongue was thick cut and very tender.

There is also a little snack item which is a grilled mochi with shoyu. Get that. It has the perfect balance of savory /sweet,...
