9.5/10 ⭐️ Para una ocasión especial, visite Gogi la semana pasada y para mi sorpresa, un Martes a las 7pm estaba increíblemente lleno. Perdimos la reserva que teníamos, sin embargo nos dieron un tiempo de espera (que se cumplió) y nos acomodaron en la barra mientras tanto. Si van a visitar no subestimen ni la hora ni el día de la semana, este sitio va a estar full. Comida: La manera en la que vienen sazonadas las proteínas automáticamente hace superior esta parrilla coreana. Las proteínas vienen más bien picantes entonces ténganlo en cuenta si ese no es su fuerte. La idea es: Piden una proteína y viene con 3 acompañamientos a elección. Para dos personas, 3 proteínas de aprox 250gr cada una y nueve acompañamientos no está nada mal. Nosotros pedimos carne de res y de cerdo picante y pollo dulce. Acompañamientos híper recomendados sería la ensalada Kanikame, el Tteokbokki, el Tofu y el Kimchi. La mayor variedad debo decir la tienen las bebidas (el menú es un poco más limitado en los alimentos sólidos). Tienen tanto bebida alcohólicas como no alcohólicas, yo probé dos sodas deliciosas muy refrescantes que van perfecto con la comida. Algo a tener en cuenta es que, si, la parrilla se calienta bastante rápido y he leído muchos comentarios que dicen que se quema la comida y que no está bien hecho … nada, pidan que les bajen la temperatura o que les cambien la rejilla de la parrilla y con gusto les ayudan. Servicio: Muy atentos, desde recomendaciones para pedir nuestras proteínas, hasta preguntarnos si deseábamos algo adicional en múltiples ocasiones. Estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotros. Como comentaba, nosotros perdimos nuestra reserva y tuvimos que esperar y incluso en la barra nos dieron Soju de cortesía

Un repas correct, mais une expérience entachée par le service Le restaurant est propre, la nourriture est bonne, et l’ambiance musicale était agréable. Malheureusement, le service a vraiment laissé à désirer. Dès notre arrivée, le serveur a tenté de nous vendre une bouteille de vin, et on a senti un changement d’attitude lorsqu’on a choisi de prendre seulement un verre à la coupe. Nous avions réservé un peu tard sans réaliser que le restaurant fermait à 22h. Nous avons tout de même eu le temps de manger, mais à 22h pile, les lumières très fortes ont été allumées — façon peu subtile de signifier la fin du service. C’était franchement désagréable comme conclusion à un souper. Au moment de payer, un pourboire d’environ 45 000 COP a été ajouté directement à la facture, sans qu’on nous le mentionne, alors qu’en Colombie, le service n’est pas obligatoire et est normalement proposé. Mon mari a commencé la transaction pendant que j’étais aux toilettes, sans qu’on lui montre la facture, et lorsque j’ai voulu la voir après coup, on m’a dit qu’elle avait été déchirée. C’est dommage, car l’endroit a du potentiel, mais avec la quantité d’excellents restaurants à Bogotá, je ne pense pas que ce soit un endroit que je recommanderais. Ce n’est clairement pas un incontournable.

Ante el desconocimiento de una experiencia genuina, creo que al menos es una buena experiencia en Bogotá para una parrilla coreana. Cada mesa tiene su propia parrilla, el menú tiene variedad de carnes, pollo, cerdo y vi algo de pescado. Las carnes las dividen en importadas y las nacionales. Las importadas creo que el promedio estaba en 130k pesos, de ahí recomiendo enormemente la Picanha, es un corte delicioso y no fueron tacaños con la porción. Las carnes nacionales están en promedio como en 65k pesos. Para dos personas recomiendan pedir dos proteínas, por cada proteína se pueden escoger 3 acompañamientos, hay una gran variedad de los acompañamientos y de por si dan lechuga de complemento (creo que el único que no recomendaría es el puré). Me atrevo a decir que incluso con dos proteínas 3 personas comen bien. Como la idea es cocinar las proteínas en la mesa, traen las porciones bastante rápido y ya al ritmo de cada quien las preparan, sin embargo tienen platos ya preparados también, aunque limitados y todos o en su mayoría son “sopas”, desconozco los tiempos, pero creo que son buenas alternativas o incluso complementos. El personal es amable y servicial. Como todo restaurante bueno, recomendable llegar temprano o hacer reserva.

U.S. Citizen here, based in Washington State.

While I have never been to Korea, any U.S. citizen knows we havea huge Korean-American population here. So, with that said, I would imagine the Korean food I have eaten in the U.S. is pretty authentic.

Moving forward, I was interested to compare the style of Korean food here, and I must say, it is pretty comparable! Actually, it's possible that U.S. citizens would like this more versus the Korean food in the U.S. because the food here has been ameliorated to suit Colombian tastes. For example, the Kimchi here is not as potent or "smelly". The side dishes you get taste badically the same compared to the U.S. so 5/5 stars.

The meat was very good. The drinks were good. The service, excellent. The attentiveness, second to none.

It's possible that some of the bad reviews that were demonstrated were given because they expected it to taste the same as from Korea or the U.S. but I think if you can set that perspective aside and come with an open mind, it's actually...

A magical dining experience.

About two months ago, I had the amazing privilege of tasting the wonderful flavor of traditional Korean food in the restaurant “Gogi”, located in Bogota, Colombia. It felt as though I was truly in Korea. The cozy ambience made you feel comfortable at all times.

The restaurant was Korean barbecue, meaning you were responsible of roasting your own beef and food depending on your taste, still, this wasn’t the only thing to have if you were to go. The ramyeon, tteokbokki, and kimchi are some amazing casual dishes. The menu had a plush design and was separated in between strong and normal plates. You could also order some trendy recipes such as octopus or roasted pork.

To conclude, it was kind of a hit and miss for me trying this restaurant but it was definitely worth it. The opulent decoration and delicious food immediately made me want to try it again someday in the future. If you are an Asian food enthusiast, I would definitely recommend...

We waited for more than an hour to be seated and we were only 2 people and then like 20 min for someone to finally take our order, the waiters were never checking in with us and they seemed to just be all over the place mostly paid attention to the bar area which seats people in line while they wait for a table, at one point I saw like 4 waiters in the bar, which makes no sense to me tbh because if your already waiting what's the issue with waiting a little more for a drink and having just one or 2 bar tenders work the bar? The food was awesome, but the service really took away from it. At the end we also were being overcharged with a type of fee that supposedly had to be paid, but it was already included in the cost and ended up having to add everything up and show them why we were not going to pay the already included fee. 2 out of 5 for the service but the...
