English: This is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the city, but the price-to-service ratio leaves a lot to be desired. The food was good (though far from spectacular), but the service fell short.
After being offered water — a basic courtesy worldwide — we were never asked if we wanted any other drinks to accompany our meal. No one checked in on us during lunch to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else, which is a standard in quality service. At the end, we had to ask for the dessert menu, as nothing was offered proactively. And for a table of three, they only brought one menu and placed it in the center, which meant only one person could read it at a time.
To top it off, the table behind us sounded like they had a party entertainer — the noise was so loud we couldn’t even hear our own conversation. Overall, disappointing for a place with such a strong reputation.
Read moreVery good seafood, excellent service. However the increase in prices (compared to my last visit) was quite a bit more than expected. In addition to this, they had brands of water on the menu that were not available -unsurprisingly, the national ones- so we had to instead pay $16000 for a bottle of water... a bit extreme considering the expected price to pay per person (without alcoholic beverages) is over a hundred thousand to begin with... still, one of the best seafood restaurants in the city, and will happily go again...
Read moreJust had lunch here on Friday, Jan 6, 2012 in Bogota. I ordered the white tuna seviche and a thai white tuna entree. The service and ambience was nice, but guess what, i just found out that they are serving mislabeled escolar (a fish which is banned in some countries) as "white tuna". I just got diagnosed with the classic side effect which involves yellow/orangish oily anal discharge. The restaurant, well known as a good seafood place, should know better than to mislabel its food (whether knowingly or...
