La Plaza Santa Marta — Restaurant in Santa Marta

Guy at the door is trying to sell you something they do not offer.

Guy is standing offering the restaurants menu, and since it was the inauguration of Copa de America he is selling you the idea that they will be showing the game on the big screens.

Family and I decided to give this place a try, we ordered appetizers, food was regular (nothing special), then the game is starting but the establishment is still blasting there music.

We asked them if it was possible to get the sound of the game instead of the music (since logically if your going to run the game people want to actually hear the soccer game not music) staff gets mad and takes a while to finally get it resolved, game goes to half time and music is back (which is understandable while the game resumes) game resumes and they decide once again to just leave music instead of the game.

Why sell that your going to have the game running if your not going to give the entire experience, then you get mad when your customers are asking for the game to be run the right way?

The service was extremely slow. I waited close to 40 minutes for my steak to arrive. The restaurant wasn't even busy. About four tables were occupied. The steak was probably the worst I've had. La plaza near parque de los novios. Is a good place to go. Lots of small Shop and loads of restaurants to chase from. It's a beautiful place to just sit and people-watch. And you can find loads of souvenirs to buy and gift to friends I also felt safe here since it was soo busy. And the buildings are beautiful as well.
