While staff was nice I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and here is why!
Food was tastless, poor quality, frozen, fried or felt like was sitting in the fridge for too long.
Plate for my main dish was dirty, and my fork too! I do not understand how any chef could let this happen.
Food looked like it was just thrown on plate without any thought behind it.
Food did not look nowhere near as good as it does on some facebook photos. What happened I do not know but it made me upset.
All food was served terribly, I felt like I'm eating in bad student canteen where everything is fried, greasy, balnd or barely edible.
Soup came luke warm, it was so heavy, oily and did not taste like shrimp soup. I tried adding salt to it to bring out the flavour but amount of cream was overwhelming, you can see it from the colour.
Main dish tuna stake, besides dirty plate, for sauce I feel like they used remains of soup, 2 broccolies were tasless just boiled and luke warm. And you get fried potato croquettes from store. Terrible!
Dessert... I had to spit my first (and last) bite because I came across more than few crusts from nuts grinding under my teeth. Cake was served in soup plate, covered by cheapest chocolate syrup.
They tried to offer me with new dessert which was even worse and made me gag.
At the end I didn't have to pay for anything except water, which was only fair because I barely touched any food they...
Read moreWe took there mussels and scampi risotto and the seafood Dalmatian pot for two. The food was extremely delicious and in the Dalmatian pot there is no shortage of seafood. The pasta they serve with the Dalmatian pot was too good. Overall the food was very tasty and the overall ambience was nice.
But there were 2 things we didn’t like about the restaurant. We told them to serve tap water if possible. They said nothing and bring us a opened bottle of water. We thought maybe this is the tap water as they didn’t say anything but on the bill we saw they actually served a bottled water cost 6 euros.
Also when we were waiting for the food the server ask if we want bread with the food. We said okay as this is a very common thing in Europe to serve extra bread with your meal even if it is not shown in the menu. But later on the bill we saw they include the bread as a separate item cost 3 euros which...
Read moreOur visit to Para Di Šoto in Split was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
The food was good, with dishes that were well-prepared and full of flavor. Each bite reflected the care and attention the kitchen puts into its offerings, making for a satisfying meal.
What really set Para Di Šoto apart, though, was the service. The waiters were the friendliest we encountered during our time in Split. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel incredibly welcome, going out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to our meal, making it memorable for all the right reasons.
In conclusion, Para Di Šoto is definitely worth a visit when you're in Split. With good food and some of the friendliest service in town, it’s a place that knows how to make guests feel at home. A well-deserved 4...
