The restaurant team noticed our disappointment and even took us into the kitchen. The patties aren’t frozen, but unfortunately, they still didn’t taste great. We were offered a free dessert, which was delicious. Maybe it’s just the burgers, or perhaps we caught them on an off day. Either way, props to the staff for their first-class service. That said, I still can’t recommend the burgers.

Avoid this place. While the service is friendly and there’s outdoor seating (therefore two stars), the food tastes like frozen supermarket fare.

We tried the beef burger and the Boqun burger, and the patties tasted straight out of a supermarket freezer. The fries, sauce, and other sides were either not homemade or, if they were, very poorly prepared.

I honestly don’t understand why this place has such good Google reviews — the burgers certainly aren’t the reason.

The side salad was laughable: just chopped cucumber, tomato, and lettuce tossed on a plate.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Boqun restaurant in Zadar and I must say that it was a memorable dinner! From the moment we entered, we felt welcome thanks to the friendly staff and the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. I decided on the spit with shrimp, which was simply perfect. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp added richness and freshness to the dish. The flavors came together wonderfully, so every bite turned into a real treat for the palate. Along with this dish, I also enjoyed their famous drink - Boqun spritz. We came and ordered drinks and two burgers. Another table came a few minutes later and they were served their drinks within a few minutes and ours had still not come. After about 10-15 minutes our waiter came back and realised he hadn't gotten us drinks and asked us what our order was again. He went back inside and our burgers came to the table. The burgers were decent, very standard but the chips tasted like they were out of a frozen shop bought packet. When we had been eating our meal for a few minutes the drinks arrived.
