Café Jericho — Restaurant in Prague

EDIT: I have written a review after an unpleasant experience in the bar but I have decided to change my review according to how the situation was handled by the owner of the bar. To explain briefly what happened, I will shortly summarize the experience and why I have decided to change the review afterwards.

My friends and me have visited this pub many times before and we have never had any issue with the staff or drinks or anything. We love the place, the atmosphere, it is a great pub in the city center that has regular, good prices and is not a tourist trap. We had an issue last time we were there, because of the chaos that was in the pub when we were leaving and we got charged more drinks than we ordered and actually had, which - to be honest - angered me.

However, after writing a review, I was contacted by the co-owner of the pub and I was refunded the money we paid extra. I really appreciate that the owners do care for their customer's experiences and are open to solve situations like this. I have been working in service for many years so I believe it was not done on purpose, as I have never experienced anything like this before in this pub and I highly appreciate the professional approach of the owner and how he handled the entire situation.

I have therefore decided to change my review despite the bad experience we once had, because overall, we had fun, mistake has been corrected, mistakes happen and we really like the place, like to go there and definitely will be coming back again. Great atmosphere, good beer, fair prices, and friendly staff....

I have been to this Cafe very often while living in Prague and found it to always be a cozy spot good for a drink or snack. Last night, however, the staff replaced our drinks after water splashed into ours from above. It was not a calm time, and the bartender took time to pour all of us new beers without any grumpiness. Another time, I noticed my drink had been moved since I left for a smoke and, when I asked if they had seen anyone touch my drink they simply replaced it. This kind of understanding is very comforting and makes Jericho a place you should be happy to give...

I’ve been a frequent customer at this bar with local friends and foreign friends, but the last time I went there I was overcharged for the drinks. The only difference was that we were speaking our mother language . We had already payed for our beers and food and on our way out they wanted to charge our beers for ciders ( which we did not order). But we settled the difference and left, needless to say I’m very disappointed and confused by this situation. I’ll not be getting back there or referencing it to...
