My opinion is related only to nail salon - “nailounge” -1 stair. I called them if i could make an appointment and that I wanted gel-nails. You see, I got there and the receptionist was really uncomfortably observing me, well especially my nails. So I sat there and the nail artist started speaking to his coworkers and literally invited them to look at my nails. However the conversation was in Vietnamese, so I didn’t really understand anything. I asked if there was any problem and they just told me simple no. Everything was quite okay, UNTIL— I noticed he started coating my nails with powder, not gel! So I immediately stopped him and said that I don’t want acrylics, but gel nails! He had to start over again. Then I showed him some pictures of nail designs, well..he said he can’t do it. I did appreciate the honesty, so I looked for something less difficult. I found very easy design with some glitters and gradient. Well he said he can’t do that either..so at least I asked if he can finish it off with matte topcoat..yee, they didn’t provide that either. It was also unhygienic in general, the brushes were frizzy and dirty, also u can’t really communicate with them properly because they can’t speak English nor Czech very good.. I...

This is what my wife and I experienced during our visit to this place.
Is entry to this mall not allowed to people of colour? My spouse and I, both frequent travelers, are Australian citizens of Indian orgin and are currently working as scientists in Sweden. Throughout our travels, we have never experienced such direct, hostile display of...
Read moreThe fact that Quadrio Mall and indeed any shopping mall in Prague charges people to use toilets is astonishing. Thousands of people pass through the mall each day and yet the management insist on payment to use a toilet. In it’s smarmy fashion it says it does so for „ safety and hygiene“. In Sth Korea, Singapore and so many other places toilets are free, plentiful and well sign posted. They are super clean and super safe. Novy Smichov is no better. It is pure greed on the part of the owners and a selfish desire to squeeze every cent out of consumers who are already paying over the top prices...
