Kavárna Velryba — Restaurant in Prague

Very bad service. From the beginning, the service from the waitress was very poor. There were 2 other waitresses with the same behave. We ordered two main dishes and she brought 1, and then I told her that I ordered 2 and there was No apology or any other comment to me, she left, made so many bad gestures with the face and started gossiping and bad mouthing with the other waitress. There was No apology, no good service to the client and tourist, no good actitude, nothing from the workers. People who work giving a service in such a touristic city should at least have a basic English level to understand such basic things as number of dishes and if not, at least have a better actitude. Food was very normal, no typical Czech food. So disappointing. I will never go back to this restaurant. I do not...

Today we got to the establishment for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty. A waitress came to our table to silently throw two wrinkled pieces of paper, appeared to be a lunch menu. There was nothing to choose from. We tried to attract the staff's attention, but they ignored us. We decided to leave without any order. I gave two stars just because before yesterday we had a very good lunch (huge portions, nicely cooked fresh schnitzel was excellent) and received very good service at this restaurant from a male waiter. The food was great. There was a big incomprehension with the order we did thorough Foodora (HORRIBLE APP DON’T USE IT) and they were really nice and helpful but it was really hard to understand what was going on. We order food for the day after instead, but when we cleared that up and we left them a big tip for the chaos. It was mostly the The Foodora app fault.
