My husband and I have just returned after spending 5 days and 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was exceptional.||The little details made it a fantastic experience: free welcome drinks, a leaving gift, umbrellas to use for when the weather was bad, as much complimentary bottles of water, tea, coffee etc... as you wanted. The reception staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.||The hotel is in a very good location and the most we walked was twenty minutes down the road to many if Prague's amazing attractions. There is a cocktail bar just across the road and around the corner are many shops, restaurants, cafes and even a Tesco. The Old Town and Charles Bridge are a 10 minute walk away. With some stunning churches being between a ten and fifteen minutes walk away. ||I'm a very fussy eater but I always managed to find something for breakfast (cereals, toast, pastries, eggs, sausages etc...). The only downside was I'm a huge tea drinker and I didn't enjoy this (but I think it may have been the water, so no fault of the hotel).||Our room: we stayed in a superior suite with a terrace. The terrace was huge complete with two small tables, 2 sun loungers and 2 chairs: with a view of a church. The room itself had a king-size bed, a wardrobe with plenty of shelving, a television (it had Netflix but you need to sign into your account), a desk and a really good sized bathroom with a waterfall shower, plus complimentary toiletries. The only negative I would say is that the towels are extremely small so I would suggest taking your own.||We didn't use the wellness room so I can't comment on that but we did have a mini gym session on the last day and unlike most hotels, where there is just a treadmill and a few weights: this gym had several cardio machines and a huge weights area. Towels and bottles of water are also provided (for free).||I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were excellent, the location was great and we will definitely...
Read moreWe stayed for 5 nights in an interior facing room on the 2nd floor. Hotel is in a great location - near, but not in the middle of the most touristy area - convenient access to transit and groceries. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a very impressive selection. Appreciated the parking availability, as we were driving to Prague.||However, we had three issues. First was that the hotel was quiet except for the person stomping around above us in the evening, which kept my wife awake. Second was that we couldn't easily get back into the parking garage the one day we left with our car because no one answered the call button after our fob didn't open the gate. We tried once, had to let another car out and then tried again 5 minutes later. Finally my wife had to walk into the lobby and wait to speak with someone. We either didn't understand how to let ourselves in, or a different system might be needed. ||Finally, our room was not very clean. It needed to be dusted and there was a never-ending supply of long hair on the carpet that kept attaching itself to our socks and clothing. The third morning the issue continued, so we requested extra vacuuming. When we returned around 3pm, nothing had been done, and cleaning arrived soon after, at which time we didn't want to leave the room after being out all day. I acknowledge they didn't get a chance to correct the issue, but our room, particularly the carpet, was not clean.||Overall, the hotel was a good value, in a great location and could be fantastic, however we did experience a few issues...
Read moreDefinitely the best hotel I've stayed in, and that's coming from someone who's stayed in lots of them as someone who loves to travel. They're probably the only hotel I'd really be glad to recommend to others and would definitely stay with them again if I return to Prague. Might even go to Prague just to stay in their hotel again.
Location is not exactly in the city center where all the tourist things are but very close to it (about a 15-20mins walk).
Breakfast buffet was good, the best I've seen in Europe with such a wide assortment of warm and cold dishes, breads, sweets, refreshments!
Underground car park was very convenient and had a nice mechanism, maximizing space.
Rooms were big and spacious. We just had aircon problems in our first room, which was unfortunately bigger than the room we were transferred to. While aircon wasn't really strong and cold enough to preference, it was decent. Their bed was the best! We really had a good night's sleep. It usually takes me an hr or two to fall asleep and when I wake up at night, that's the end of sleep for me. Thanks to their bed, I fall asleep just minutes after lying down, even if I woke up in the middle of the night.
All these are good enough reasons to choose this hotel but the best part of the stay was truly the service. Staff was warm and welcoming and always ready to serve. 24hour reception meant you could always contact them for things you may need in your room, such as toiletries and water....
