Hotel Adler was the first location on our multi-city Euro trip. We booked this place sight unseen due to a variety of reviews. We were very happy with the stay! We arrived during "afternoon treatment" to a variety of hot and cold beverages, finger sandwiches and fresh fruit and pastries. Breakfast (included in our booking, but not necessarily every booking) was also impressive. A large variety of hot and cold choices including boiled and fried eggs, pancakes (what I would have called crepes) and sausages, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cheese, bread, deli spreads and cold cuts. Lots of choices for coffee and tea and cold juices.
The room was small, clean and comfortable. We would have liked a little more room to navigate around the bed, as DH and I crashed into the TV on the wall more than once.
The reception staff were all kind, courteous and helpful, guiding us to a variety of requested sightseeing locations and explaining the tram to the train station. We opted for Uber for our trips around as we were a little uncomfortable with the metro and tram lines.
The location of this hotel was convenient to all the major highlights in Prague and set enough off the beaten path to be quiet. Our Thursday evening was pleasant and quiet, but Friday was a little more raucous. We heard more of the street noise as our room was on the street level. (Thanks to a fellow reviewer for recommending earplugs! Those came in handy for me, as I am a light sleeper)
Overall, this was a perfectly pleasant, adequate 3 star hotel, found as reviewed and advertised and exactly what we needed for our brief stay in Prague. Definitely worth the price, especially if you aren't looking for major luxury or a lot of extra services such as...
Read moreThe excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and google about this hotel lived up to our expectations and exceeded them. We arrived Friday last and we were welcomed by an excellent guy in reception by the name of ARTEM, not only did he welcome us, he gave us excellent advice on where to dine, visit and relax, with great discounts and a complimentary drink at the hotel bar. Our room was 211, the beds were very comfortable and very well maintained by the staff. On entering the room there was a beautiful bottle of red wine and a very nice note from the manager. The attention to detail in this hotel is really top class. Water was also supplied as part of the service. In the room there is a fridge with a selection of items should you get hungry or thirsty. Breakfast was included in our package. The next morning we had breakfast, there was a great selection of fruit, pastries, meats, cheese, breakfast cereal, eggs, sausage, fried eggs, breakfast was a pure delight. On entering breakfast we were welcomed a beautiful lady by the name of SOFIA, she explained where everything was and to help with any need. The hotel is in a superb location with great restaurants and bars close by, the hotel is in between the old and new town. It is also very close to the city bus tour route's, trams and the metro. This place for us a home from home. On checking out we were give a fridge magnet and a discount for our next stay. If you want a hotel with excellent attention to detail, great value, great location and excellent service with excellent staff this is the place. Highly recommended. 12/10. Thank you SOFIA and ARTEM for...

Easy check in, the staff is very friendly and good at English.
This hotel has a lot of charm! And it's perfectly located in Old Town. Walking distance to every tourist attraction.
Got our room on the 4h floor. The room was very clean, and enough space to "move around". Also had a mini fridge (mini bar), with actually some decent prices.
The breakfast is definitely price worthy. 7€ per person, and it gives you a solid meal every morning.
The transfer from the airport was 28€, or 670 CZK. We paid in Euro, but got the impression from the driver that he preferred CZK as currency. Same procedure back to the airport.
PLUS Great location Comfy beds Clean room Good transfer Very good breakfast Free coffee and snack in the afternoon
MINUS No AC We had about 24-28 degrees celsius every day and night during our stay. Our room's air was almost non-existent. Even though we opened the window and started the fans, it wasn't good enough. Not the best quality of sleep.
The lack of fire alarms Our room didn't have a fire alarm, and we could only find one outside in the hallway. Which was pretty far away from our room, and the other six rooms next to ours.
The noise outside Can't really blame the hotel for this. But there are a lot of noise coming from outside. Especially since we needed to have our window opened (No AC). Drunk people, delivery trucks and construction sites.
Overall a very good hotel. Would come back if an AC was installed, and for safety, a couple of fire alarms.
Thank you for an overall good...
