Updated review: We first stopped by just for coffee and künefe (original review below), and it was so good that we knew we had to return for breakfast — and I’m so glad we did. The spread was hearty and kept us full for hours. The kaymak was absolutely delicious and without a doubt the highlight of the table.
It was interesting to see both fried and boiled eggs included. Personally, I would have loved to see menemen (the famous Turkish omelet), but that wasn’t a surprise since the menu clearly listed what was included. The feta with cucumber and tomato was refreshing, and the large plate of olives was a wonderful treat.
The tea was rich and satisfying, just as Turkish tea should be, and finishing with a traditional Turkish coffee made the whole experience feel complete. One detail we really appreciated was that the staff member who was looking after us remembered our Turkish coffee preferences (sweet or not) from our last visit. Considering how busy the place gets, that level of attentiveness felt very special.
If I may add one small thought: it would have been lovely if the food, especially the eggs, were served in more traditional-style dishes. It’s a little detail, but it could bring even more charm to the experience.
All in all, a wonderful taste of Turkey in Prague — we’ll definitely be back on our next visit!
Original Review: We stopped in for some Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, and kunefe, and it was a wonderful experience. The Turkish coffee was excellent — I had mine without sugar while my husband had his sweet, and both were prepared perfectly. The kunefe was really pleasant, not overly sweet, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy, and it paired beautifully with the coffee. To finish, the Turkish tea was strong and bold, just the way I like it.
The atmosphere was laid back, with beautiful décor that created a warm, pleasant vibe. The staff were friendly, and service was fast and efficient. We’ll definitely be back to explore more...
Read moreFound this restaurant whilst scrolling on Google maps. Would recommend. I got seated in an instant and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I only waited 10 minutes for my food (I ordered at 20:51 and the food came at 21:02), so that was super quick and what set it apart from other restaurants. The meat was tasty and the flavours were good. The red bulgur was tasty too. The bred that came with my food could have been softer, it was a little chewy. I ordered an extra sauce on the side which was very tasty to mix with the rest of the food. The staff came to me in an instant when asked and were friendly, answering all questions I had and giving advice when needed. The staff is what stood out to me the most, because all three staff that helped me throughout the evening were very helpful. They had tables from anywhere between 1 and over 10 people, so it worked for both group dinners or solo dinners. Music and loud noise is a big thing to me in restaurants, and here it did not bother me at all. It did not cross my mind once that it was an unpleasant atmosphere. You also couldn’t hear the other people’s voices very much, so the acoustic is good. All in all: I would recommend coming here! They had a lot of choices on the menu. See picture of...
Read moreI had the pleasure of having lunch at this Turkish restaurant, and it was truly outstanding. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
The appetizer was delicious, well-presented, and full of authentic flavors. The main course did not disappoint either, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked dishes. The Turkish tea was a delightful surprise—aromatic and traditionally served—while the coffee was rich and well-prepared. And the baklava? Simply perfect, with just the right balance of sweetness and texture.
The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend to anyone wanting to taste real Turkish cuisine. I will...
