During my recent visit to U Tellerů in Prague 3, I had the pleasure of enjoying a truly delightful meal that left me thoroughly satisfied. The highlight of my dining experience was the steak haché, which was absolutely fantastic.
The steak haché was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented with a sunny-side-up egg on top. The rich, savory sauce accompanying the steak added an extra layer of depth to the dish, complementing the meat’s robust flavors without overwhelming them. Paired with crispy, golden fries and a side of pickled vegetables and beets, the meal was a perfect balance of taste and texture.
The atmosphere at U Tellerů is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both a casual lunch and a more relaxed evening out. The service was prompt and friendly, and the overall experience was enhanced by the warm and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant.

Read moreCame for the food, and service was a total let down. Ordered their tartare, and their Pastrama bum, with home made fries and a glass of white slovak wine, which was extraordinary. The tartare was rather on the very good side, albeit the truffle mayonnaise did not deliver to the level of other places doing the same, but it came with a vegetable mix that enlightened it. The pastrami bun was on the dry side, I chocked on it, and not as flavoured as should be. The worse came from the waiters, I asked 2 times for just tap water, the girl decided I wouldn't get it, 1st sent me mineral water, when I returned it and asked again for tap water it never came. While I was wrapping my meal the table next to me got a nice jug of fresh tap water, like many other table, I made a remark to my waitress that water never made it to my table "we don't give 1 glass of tap water, only big jugs", really I don't deserve water because I m alone??? Read moreI dined solo here this evening and was treated to my most favorite meal in Czechia thus far. The Chef has created a thoughtful menu which highlights seasonal items and offers guests multiple elevated options from which to choose. I honestly had a difficult time choosing, so I opted for a few smaller items and could then sample more. The strawberry tomato salad with soft Baltic cheese was so ripe and fresh! (I can’t stop thinking about it because it was so perfect!) As my 2nd course, I adored their steak tartar with dried yolks, truffle mayo and fresh herbs with toasted rye bread. With 2 appetizers, I didn’t need a full entry and opted for the petite salad with farmer’s egg, avocado, roasted corn, and semi-dried tomato. My server suggested I try their banana split for dessert. While delicious, I didn’t have enough space to finish it.
I was so impressed the menu, I’m coming back before I head back home.
