OMNIBUS — Restaurant in Prague

Absolutely terrible food. I am attaching shrimps for 199,- which were serve to us. Carbonara is floated by cream and with barely cooked bacon, no garlic, no nothing. Pizza was ok, despite just basic tomatoe puree. Nothing authentic about this. Some sportsbar will make similar quality food. Homemade limonade is syrup with water. I am giving one star for very nice waitress. Reponds on restaurant: Of course I said its ok, you think you want to give back 5 times the same thing and be bothered? I ordered water afterwards so i can that terrible sweet syrup water down. And no, we didnt eat everything but we are also trying to not be wasteful, so we ate atleast to get full. I can only see how you would react we would say everything is absolutely terrible and send everything back, it was deffo no poisoness, just not good. I have better things with my life than do scene in restaurant. So yeah, i tried to complain about limonade twice, it was still trash, then food was disaster, so I was like "damn it", lets just get throught it, cut our loses, pay and leave. Picture of those shrimps says it all, so i dont even have to justify. :D …you know we live like 100m from you and we have running joke in our family that we MUST visit you again because it was so “good” whenever we walk by. You definitely left impression how terrible this was and that doesnt happen often. And one more thing, i leave many reviews, good as well, so this is not coming from some bitterness. Four of us dined there two ordered wine two ordered beer the wine they brought was very old and super sweet. We stated that the wine was very sweet and the waitress/bartender said no it is dry. We said no it’s very sweet and she reprimanded us and told us it was dry. My wife said taste it and she refused we said do you have different wine? We can’t drink this. Very angrily, She brought another wine which was still bad but better and not as sweet. we had to ask her again to replace the other glass of wine also. We wanted to leave after this poor reception. But we were already there so we ordered a pizza and two salads. They were actually quite good. And we ordered another pizza. We had five beers and three glasses of wine. She did get a bit nicer. As we were leaving, we saw a sign that said order two pizzas get one free on Wednesday. She never mentioned that and we did not want to go back in and ask about it. Great place! The first time I went here, I had a very negative experience due to extremely poor service and posted a review about it here. A bit later I received a reply from the restaurant stating that 1) the waiter present that day was fired afterwards and 2) they were willing to offer us a free dinner for two as compensation. We decided to give it another shot and I have to say that I was blown away by how good it turned out to be! The staff was extremely friendly and apologetic and perhaps most importantly, the food was incredible! Very nice carpaccio and quite possibly the best pizza I'd ever had.
