If you're looking for a night of exceptional music in Prague, this is the place to go. Jazz Dock has a great reputation for showcasing some of the best jazz musicians in town. The atmosphere is fantastic, with cozy seating arrangements, warm lighting, and a real buzz in the air. The service is excellent, with attentive staff who are always on hand to make sure you have everything you need.
Visitors to Jazz Dock are more likely to experience a lively and intimate evening filled with world-class jazz music. The acoustics of the venue are top-notch, which allows the musicians to perform at their best. The drinks menu is also impressive, with a great selection of cocktails and wines to choose from.
What sets Jazz Dock apart from other jazz clubs in Prague is the variety of performers they feature. From local jazz legends to international stars, the lineup is always diverse and exciting. Additionally, the venue also hosts other music genres, including blues and funk, which makes it accessible to a broader audience.
The only reason I didn't give Jazz Dock a full five stars is due to its limited food menu. While the drinks selection is excellent, the food choices are quite limited. I would suggest expanding the menu to offer a wider range of options to cater to all tastes.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jazz Dock to anyone looking for an exceptional jazz experience in Prague. The ambiance, service, and quality of music are second to none. I left feeling thoroughly entertained and inspired by the talent on display. I would definitely return and encourage others to...
Read moreUnfortunately, the amazing jazz club JAZZDOCK, located in a beautiful spot with the potential for brilliant acoustics, great staff, excellent food, and a perfect selection of the best musicians from around the world, employs a sound engineer who believes that the only difference between pure jazz and any fusion, God forbid, an entirely different genre, is VOLUME. For the past few years, every time I attend a concert at Jazzdock – I go there about 5-10 times a year, and it’s not pure jazz – I am desperate about the insane over-amplification of the space, where any melody and music gets lost in the noise. It's a disaster. The sound engineer is either hard of hearing or just bad. I've personally intervened twice to ask them to lower the volume to a tolerable level, but to no avail. So yes, the jazz is great, it's bearable, but don’t go there for anything else without noise-cancelling headphones. The list of ruined experiences is already long, and the last straw was this Thursday’s concert of my favorite band "minus123minut," which I spent the whole time with headphones on, which is completely pointless, and the 700 CZK per person for music in headphones is...
Read moreWe never had a problem there in fact we always had a really good time there; either for a concert or just having a drink in the terrace however today we had a really bad experience to make us not want to go there again. It is sunday and my partner and me decided to go there with our son (a 3 months old baby) to have a drink and enjoy the afternoon. We arrived around 17:45 and the place was almost empty, 3/4 of the tables were free so the waitress pointed a table and we asked to seat in a different one since, as I said, the place was almost empty and she said that to seat there we need to put the stroller of our baby next to the fence 3 metres away from us; worth mentioning our baby was totally sleeping so of course we didnt want to wake him up or put him 3 metres away from us. The waitress said that the stroller would disturb the pass eventhought the space remaining it was more than 1 metre and on top of that the waitress said "this place is no made for..." looking and the baby; I want to highlight this is a sunday evening and there were no concerts we Just wanted to enjoy a chill afternoon in a...
