The only good point is the awesome view and the tranquility... nothing else positive to mention. The service was shockingly amateurish (cocky, cheesy, unqualified and dodgy waiter - no sense for quality service. Treating the guest like a waiting idiot and very disrespectful by taking away the plate and glas during the companion still eats with vehemence)... what a shame, the spot offers so much potential... the food was very, very poor... no and bad taste at the same time, pricing for that poor food are too high and the vine glas arrive nearly empty. What a shame... there was only one young trainee waiter who understood the point of friendly service. Definitely not coming back! Please get professional, friendly and service oriented staff and a proper chef! It's not too difficult to cook a proper plate...

Really loved this place. But on the 3rd time visiting I was assaulted by an old man (assumed he works there) I gave one of the muskrats a carrot. He had followed my friend and was giving her verbal abuse in czeck. Me and my friend walked towards the elevator to leave the island and he followed us. He then proceed to talk aggressive towards us in Czech, so I asked whether he spoke English and he carried on talking in an aggressive manner in czeck and hushing us away even though he could clearly see we were waiting for the elevator to leave. Then he pushed my arm HARD, which hurt. I'm a small 5ft 3 English girl and he was a giant male, around 6ft... I will be putting in a complaint as it was assault. Otherwise absolutely beautiful peaceful island with...

One of the great places of Prague city.. İt a place where you can sit on the grass ,relax have your sandwich or beer and enjoy the magnificient views arround you..There is an elevator on one side of the bridge where you can go down or walk downstairs on the other side of the bridge. Views od Narodni divadlo and Karluv most as well as Prague castle is amazing..its a paradise after you did wandered arround the city and your legs deserve a break..The Coco van has some snacks and bevarages but unfortunately they only accept credit...
