I'm British and me and the wife stumbled on this restaurant while coming from the palace and I am so pleased that we did i tried the goulash as when in rome and all that and i loved every mouthful, the amount of taste coming through the dish was exceptional and the amount on the plate was plentiful. my wife had the spaghetti bolognese and enjoyed every mouthful and the portion was large,today i had the bbq pork ribs with cabbage and again could not believe how good it was and the wife had the special burger which was exceptional and tomorrow our last day at prague we will again walk from the centre of prague accross the river around 2km to come here to eat although there is a lot closer restaurants to eat all I can say is it is exceptional food,' exceptional service and the price is very good can't speak highly enough of...

Premium Czech Cuisine, Very Friendly & Obliging Staff, Fair Prices

The Place offers high qualitative Czech cuisine with a modernistic touch. The portions are rather big and yet everything is fresh and appetizingly prepared. They have a permanent menu as well as an attractive daily changing offer. I can recommend the beef cheeks. The cabbage soup with hungarian sausages was like an angel peeing on my soul!!!! They also have an excellent choice of craft beer!

Staff is incredibly hospitable and very helpful with special requests. The interior is modern yet simple. It is the perfect place if you don't like to drink your beer out of a bucket but neither want half your plate to be decorated with balsamico cream! We went there to celebrate my moms birthday. This is one of the best restaurants in Prague if not the best. I repeatedly come back for their wonderful meals that are so delicious from the first bite to the last. Traditional Czech cuisine as well as some burgers, gnocchi, soups and more. Svíčková, traditional Czech meal is the best I tasted in restaurant whatsoever, so is duck and strawberry dumplings that are to die for, highly recommend to have these! They are home made and nothing like you ever tasted before. The atmosphere is homey and cozy, waiters absolutely professional and friendly, caring about every need and request.
