I ordered based on the items in their official online menu. When I went (with a restless baby in a pram) to pick my order up, I was charged ~890 CZK and gave a tip of another 30 CZK, so I paid some 920 CZK in cash (No cards accepted 🤦♂️). When I arrived home and unpacked the stuff, I noticed that a Thai shrimp soup worth 60 CZK was missing. So I checked the online prices thoroughly to see whether I was charged for the soup or not. I noticed then that based on the prices I should have paid around 700 CZK for the entire order. So I called the restaurant and asked for an explanation if I was maybe charged for someone else's order? I was told that everything is in order that the prices on the web are outdated and now the items are more expensive and also the packaging cost is not included in the web menu. I told them that I don't think that it is ok to have old prices online and no mention of having to pay for the packaging (definitely should be mentioned upfront). And I still told them that they did not include the soup I paid for. I was told that this mistake is not possible and the soup was included. Well I know that I did not have the soup for dinner, so it must have magically disappeared from the bag on the way home. I will not come back to this place. Very sad as I previously really enjoyed this restaurant and ate there many times but such behaviour is absolutely unacceptable. I will be spending my money elsewhere going forward. And I will be spending it via a card so that I can do a charge back next time someone tries to pull of...
Read moreI don’t know how to really describe this place in a right way. If restaurants deserves to receive an award. I lived in southeast asia for quite long time and familiar with their cuisine. Since I moved to Europe, I usually go for Vietnamese food if I miss asian taste but by time I started to go less and less cause the asian food in Prague seemed not as good as it is, mostly same tastes until I found this restaurant PHO FAMILY. I remember this advice from one my asian friends mom, if you wanna know a good restaurant try their fried rice, if they cook this specific dish very well then everything there is perfect. Pho family has one of the best fried rices in town that taste exactly what you eat in Vietnam. Other than that I had a soup with tofu in coconut milk this one was a bowl from heaven, one of the tastiest soup I’ve ever had in my life. The staff are so friendly, speak very well English, your order gets ready super fast no matter how busy the restaurant is, and last but not least the vibe is great, positive, and very clean. Prices also very affordable. If you are in Prague looking for Vietnamese food without hesitation visit this place, guaranteed you will love everything. And if you are living in Prague and don’t know about this place, once you tried it, it’ll be your regular place to go. Thanks Pho Family team and carry on this way, you’re doing...
Read moreMy parents and I went for dinner one night at Pho Family. The restaurant was quite spacious and there was only two other tables with guests. (We went at about 730- 8pm). We tried the shrimp springrolls (3 pieces) and they tasted fresh and crispy! We also ordered a beef pho, and a fried duck rice with lemongrass and chilli. The fried duck was our favourite, as it was sth we never tried before! The pho had a clear broth which and the portion was large and could be shared among the three of us. We also ordered a tofu soup, which reminds us of tomyum but a little more sweet than spicy. Overall very cozy and relaxed dining experience, my dad wants to revisit again for the fried duck and the place...
