Shocking! Is one word for my review.

It took forever to get us a beer and when I got it and wanted to place the order for the food, the waiter said ‘cash only’ as their card reader was not working. Given that I did not have cash I politely declined to have the beer and did not order any food. I was told don’t worry it’s fine to have the beer. I offered to come back the next day to pay if the card machine did not work. The waiter, I observed, did not say ‘cash only’ to other customers. They ordered their drinks and food and lets be real very few carry cash these days. On finishing my beer I went to counter to check if the card machine was working so I could pay my bill - the lady looked at me with a question mark as if ‘what are you talking about?’. Anyways, I paid the bill and on my way out asked the waiter why he did not inform me re the card machine working so I could order some food? He said he called the bank ‘30 times’ today as the card machine was working erratically. Liar! If that was the case he should have pre warned all customers walking in after me. If he’s discriminating against tourists, it’s the loss to the business monetarily, earning this bad review and deserving a poor...

This place is absolutely great! They serve the beer at the right temperature (very cold) and the food is fantastic. Their pork ribs are delicious, super soft, and the sauce is great; also, a portion is 800 grams! It is a very good portion of amazing food.

The mixed sausages platter is also very good, they come witha goof amount of mustard, pickles and horseradish, excellent as a starter or to share over a beer. Their stews are excellent, I have tried the goulash and the pork stew, both of them with an amazing flavor, a good sized portion and amazing for cold weather. Ther tartar is also very good!

The place is usually crowded after 7, but if you get there around 6 you can easily get a table. The place is comfortable and very beautiful. The staff is friendly (even to tourists like us) and the service is good (it can be just a bit slow when the place is full). As any pub, it is a bit noisy, but nothing to be annoyed at, you can still have a conversation without raising your voice. The music is mostly pop, but it is played at a very low volume, so you really have to focus in order to listen to it.

Overall, this is a great place, amazing beer and food, great atmosphere and great...

I used to visit this restaurant quite often. That was 3 years ago. Since then it went aaalll the way down. Not proper glasses for wine (they got these small glasses and you can barely enjoy the wine from it). "Warm homemade potato chips" were cold and you could tell that they just bought them somewhere and put it on a plate. Salad with grilled brie on lettuce and vegetables. Let me tell you something - I had many salads with brie in my life - this was the worst. The vegetables was cut too big, the salad was boring, the brie was cold. I was very disappointed.

I give the stars for staff. They were very nice, nothing was a problem, they apologized for all the troubles. And the place is nice and clean.

I will probably not visit this place for food again, not even for wine. Maybe...
