Pizzeria — Restaurant in Prague

We (me and my partner) entered this place by chance and with cold weather creeping in our bones, as well as hungry. Recipe for disaster. Not totally. Firstly, this is a classic tourist trap. Ambient was good, well lit, nicely decorated and looked really clean. Service was rushed. We ordered soup, pizza and Cesar salad as well as tagliatelle with prawns. We were asked by the rushed waitress if we wanted the soup first and the rest after, together. We agreed to it. The tomatoes soup came fairly quickly and was warm and nice. Then, pizza arrived semi warm, on its own and not with the rest of main dishes which we thought it was strange. Pizza was good only and half cold. That wasn’t good. The tagliatelle, were ok, not bad, and Cesar salad was ok too. Remember I told you in the beginning this place is tourist trap? Well, when the bill arrived the waitress did a splendid trick. When she showed us the bill, which had 20% service charge added already, she told us the 10% tips was not included. I thought service charge is your tips. We paid the extra 10% “tips” only because we could not be bothered to argue. When we left, same waitress just totally “aired” us and didn’t even say thanks and good bye. •Some staff members needs to improve a bit their way to greed customers and learn to say at least bye.

First day in Prague for me and my friends, we came in to eat as we were very hungry. I asked the person at the bar if we can have a table for 3, she said yes and told us to take a seat. Other member of staff took the menus and I asked if we can seat on the table next to us (thinking maybe he wants to seat us on a different table, just wanting to know if we can choose it), no answer from him. Food was very and tasty. We paid online with an optional service charge. When we left, I said thank you and bye to the same staff member who sat us down, not getting anything back from him, which left me with not a good experience from there. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service. There is no customer service in this place. There is a reason why they are already 3.7 stars. We were a group of visitors staying at the complex by the side of the restaurant and as we were waiting to depart we were ready to have some drinks and they refused to serve 7 drinks because the other 3 customers wouldn't order, the place was empty hence no loss. That is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Furthermore in a previous ocassion that we wanted to eat there althought it says that closes at 23.00 at 22.15 they didn't want to let us sit anymore.

Check the prices. They are substantially more expensive than other places. BE AWARE. DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED PROPERLY. A TOURIST TRAP.
