I was here with my sister because we wanted to see the narrowest street on our Prague’s trip. Knowing that it is a famous spot, of course we knew there would have been a lot of people going up and down. The restaurant is at the end of the street, it is not clear that there is a dead end, which means that when you get down you necessarily have to go back up in the same way or you can sit at this restaurant. So we walked down the narrowest street and when we got at the end there were way too many people and apparently I stepped on the foot of the waiter of this restaurant. Of course I haven’t done it on purpose and I didn’t even notice because everyone was pushing to get some space. He followed me, talking behind my back, saying aggressively that I stepped on his foot on purpose and that I didn’t even say anything. At first I didn’t even know what was happening because, again, I didn’t even know I stepped on him. However, even if I wasn’t sure about what he was saying, I said I was sorry and that I didn’t notice. He was so rude, all he was doing was kept saying in an aggressive way that it was impossible that I didn’t notice. He even said in a sarcastic way that maybe I’m a robot because I didn’t feel his foot under mine. At this point I was so shocked that I stopped answering back. Of course we didn’t want to sit at his restaurant anymore, however after all of this he still tried to convince my sister to get in and when she said no again, he laughed and said to us in a mean way that we hadn’t way out. We turned our backs just ignoring him and figured how to walk again through the narrowest street. The whole experience was awful, mainly because he made me feel like a terrible person. The entire thing was just him making fun of tourists… absolutely horrible. Learn how to treat tourists, especially when you are in a place where you know there are plenty of them and especially when your income relies on them. Also realise that we are literally spending money to visit your city and your country, being kind and understanding is not so difficult. Would...

Rude unprofessional and horrid staff! We arrived for drinks and were directed to a table we sat ordered drinks and just like typical tourists we wanted to sit on a front table by the river so we did move given the chance with our drinks. We had to leave in a rush so we got up to pay at the till we told the waiter that we ordered a mimosa and a lemonade and couldn’t find a waiter swiftly to pay at the table. There were other customers paying at the till before us but for some reason the waiter found us asking to pay at the till very offensive and told us with a bad and heavy attitude that we should have stayed at the table as it arises confusion with orders when customers do not and it becomes more confusing when the customers change tables. I worked in one of the busiest restaurants in the world in harrods! Customers moved tables and got picky with the food and drinks but as trained customer service professionals we never complained and sorted issues/misunderstandings swiftly without ruining the customer’s experience and we knew what customers ordered (trained to retain lots of order info) and understood that not all customers abide by the restaurant’s rules/etiquettes due to various reasons. The waiter should have just asked about the table we sat at without expressing any inconvenience/annoyance. They let the customers before us pay at the till not sure why they took offence with two female customers that are nice and quiet and were trying to make their lives easier since the place is tinny but was busy with only 2 waiters who are evidently not adequate enough for the job and could not handle a minor table change! I’m not the one to leave reviews but had to since the incident made me so uncomfortable and the waiter who is my dad’s age decided to stand and argue with me what an utter and complete joke. They just couldn't deal with a 2 drink...

Went here with my girlfriend who is vegetarian we got sat down and ordered drinks my girlfriend ordered a coke when the brought it out it was flat she asked for another one from a fresh bottle and the waiting staff were very rude and confrontational

When we ordered the food my girlfriend asked for a pasta off the vegetarian section on the menu which had listed that it had parmesan in it which is not vegetarian she asked for it without it the instead of kindly letting us know weather or not that would be possible the waitress got in an argument with her about weather or not Parmesan cheese if vegetarian

Eventually she confirmed that it would be okay I had ordered the sirloin steak and the food then arrived about 20 mins later what I got was some bizzare concoction of fruit whipped cream and bread with a grey bit of meat in the middle of the plate my girlfriend was eating hers only to realise that there was something strange in it upon closer inspection it turned out to be chorizo!!

We were so shocked to find this out as we had made it very clear that she was vegetarian and due to the attitude of the staff suspected that it was intentional either way completely unacceptable

Regardless of this the food was absolutely terrible and would not of been happy to pay for it looking at other review it seems that these kind of experiences are a common theme would not recommend going here especially if you have allergies as the staff seems to not care about what they are...

Food is OK and view was good. This place is a the bottom of a narrow 'road', which is fun. When it came to the bill, however, they added EVERYTHING to the bill. For example, we were billed around $5 for the SQUIRTS OF KETCHUP for the Wiener Schnitzel!!! You can see the ketchup in the picture. Funny thing is, I was going to tip the waiter generously. Instead, my $30 tip was just spent on ketchup and other little parts of the meal that really should have been included... I probably wouldn't go there again because of the aggressive behavior and bad vibes I got when it came to the bill. But again, the view is nice and my kids had a good time eating by the water. Fish, Wiener Schnitzel, and a bowl of goulash cost ~$100...

I have traveled to many countries in my life and enjoyed coffee or beer in countless places. But I have never seen such a ridiculous restaurant anywhere!! Out of my three visits, on two occasions I was treated rudely by the waiters, and if you are not ordering food, you are not even allowed to sit at the garden tables – absolutely terrible!! I will never come back again. This place survives only because it’s located in a touristy spot, not because of its quality. The food has no real taste, and the so-called “charm” of being reached through the world’s narrowest street doesn’t make up for it. Every time I’ve been here there were different waiters, but all equally rude!! Avoid this place at all costs!!!

If you come for the Charles bridge view this is the seat for you, but can’t expect the food.. It’s first time for me to be serve the steak with knife under the steak, I don’t know what is that mean maybe is Czech culture 🤷‍♀️ my steak was very salty, ☑️ and the salad is the worse I have ever have after traveling 55 country, the leaf not fresh, and no dressing just leaf, ☑️ when I finish the staff was asking me how is the food I told him salad is bad but the response nothing. Will I come back ? NO! So yeah :)
