Restaurace Andělský újezd — Restaurant in Prague

I came to this restaurant because the name literally says five star resturant in chinese. Honestly they do not provide authentic chinese food at all and im chinese. I order 3 main dish and one side with rice and drinks. Two of the dishes are mostly tasteless. Secondly i think their Chinese menu are priced higher then the regular czk menu...i paid about 1000 czk for those foods and they are barely enough for two ppl. While in the local menu they charge about 100 to 200 czk per dish with generous portion...Lastly they only accepts cash. Out of all the restaurant i been in Europe only they do not have a card machine...what kind of five star dont have card machine...so i had to go to atm nearby and let them rip me off for 15 percent fee for cash i withdraw Because i did not expect any resturant during covid will only accept cash......if you want enjoy cash only white washed Chinese food. This will be your choics. Or you can go to any other Chinese resturant or local resturant that will provide you with better tasting food at portion of the price...will...

One of the worse foods I've had. For American tourists, Panda Express is a michelin star restaurant compared to this place. It's worse than cheap strip mall Chinese foods you always avoid. The food is not edible. The hot and sour soup tasted like ketchup. They used the same sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. Guess what? It tasted like ketchup.

Heads up, they charge for tap water (it's not even chilled or filtered. We could see the hazy bubbles in the water when it's poured from the faucet, until it settles down. Just disturbing). It's also cash only despite not being a cheap place. More worrying, we ordered the food and it came out in 30 seconds. I leave it to you to judge what that means.

Service is also very bad. We shared a dish and the waitress was flustered she had to bring an additional plate for us.

Maybe it's a local thing? Maybe the food taste is different here? But if you want good Chinese food, this not where...

Used to be a great place. Great food and nice staff. Latest experience however was really disappointing. Food was below average, service was poor. Noodles were very oily and seemed done in a haste. Asked for big bottled water and they brought me a 2 L plastic bottle water which costs 15 czk at your local LIDL, for which they ended up charging me 100 czk. A rip off. I was quite unsuspecting since I had only good experiences before. Confronted them , thinking it's a mistake, but they insisted that is the price. In the end I paid the bill and left. Not my...
