A True Hidden Gem – Sapore Vero Never Disappoints!

My wife and I have had the pleasure of dining at Sapore Vero twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for a truly enjoyable experience.

We tried a variety of dishes across our visits — the lasagna was rich and comforting, layered to perfection with a depth of flavor that tasted authentically homemade. The sea bass was delicately cooked, flaky and fresh, served with just the right balance of seasoning. One of the highlights was the pinsa – light, airy, and full of character, easily one of the best we’ve ever had. The risotto was creamy and flavorful, cooked al dente and full of depth without being heavy. And of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the tiramisu, which was simply divine — perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a lovely espresso kick.

Every dish was clearly prepared with care and attention, and the service matched the food — friendly, attentive, and relaxed. We left both times feeling full, happy, and already talking about coming back.

And the second visit — and an unexpected moment

The pasta was just as amazing as the first time, and we also ordered their tiramisu — so authentic and so good! 🍮

But then, something unexpected happened: my daughter, who rarely gets nosebleeds, suddenly started bleeding quite heavily, and it wouldn’t stop at first.

The lady at the bar noticed us trying to help her with wet wipes and rushed over with a huge stack of tissues. She kept asking if she could help, whether my daughter was okay, and when I told her we were fine, she still wasn’t convinced — she even prepared an ice pack for us.

After a while, the bleeding stopped, but she continued to check in on my daughter from time to time.

Traveling with kids, moments like these — where you feel genuine care from strangers — truly touch the heart. 🥹

Right then and there, my kids and I made a promise: “Next time we’re back in Prague, we’re definitely coming here again.”

The food is nothing short of excellent. The chef, who is also one of the owners, crafts every dish with love and authenticity. The Caesar salad I had was absolutely outstanding — fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality in every bite.
