Votre Plaisir — Restaurant in Prague

Went in this morning with my boyfriend for our 6 year anniversary. Greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter. We sat beside the door and had a lovely view. I had an iced coffee which was the best I’ve had in a long time (got another for the road), my partner had the homemade lemonade. We then got three cakes to share, a traditional punch soaked one, the pecan espresso and a lemon tart. They were all amazing! The owner came out and gave us some homemade ice cream on the house as it was our anniversary. Such a lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend to any cake, coffee, lemonade lover! They also had a great lunch menu available!

Výborný větrník, ale špatně mléko. The personal offered me to change my cappuccino for a tea and not coffee as it is written below, opening a brand new bottle of milk (and not the one that was used for my drink) and claiming that the milk was totally fine. Which was a lie. I would not recommend that place. The větrník was very tasty but the milk in the cappuccino was spoiled, although I asked she didnot change it but said it was the taste from the coffee. Unfortunately the cakes here are quite overpriced. You pay about double the amount per cake with regard to Cukrar Skala. I have to say that the patisserie feels freshly made and contains high quality ingredients. However, I’m not sure it justifies the high price of 8 euros per piece (+400czk). The fact that there were no prices indicated, might have been a warning. Even in Amsterdam you don’t pay this much for patisserie.
