About this hotel: there are no words that can translate the amazing experience we had!||Me and my 2 friends were amused by everything. The location is great, you can reach to Old Town Square in 10 minutes by feet! If you don’t feel like walking, you also have the underground subway and the tram at 2 minutes from the hotel. ||The bedroom was huge, well equipped, with amazing sunlight in the morning, the perfect temperature by night and such comfy beds as well as so many space in the closet to hang your things.||The staff was even greater, we own special gratitude to Dominik which is the perfect host and tour guy (if you don’t know where to start your trip and where Czech food and drinks to experiment are better you can trust he is packed with amazing suggestions!)||But the offers this hotel have are so much more worth mentioning: starting with the Restaurant La Boca, a fusion between Spanish and Argentinian food, that already makes us have water in our mouth from remembering it. Amazing tapas and amazing breakfast such as so nice staff.||Next, the Wine Office: the greatest wine we ever tasted! We are not wine experts but that Cava robbed our heart in the first second we tasted it. In this point we also send our warmest regards to Dominik which suggested the exact perfect wine and revealed himself really experienced with Wine Office being his own business and passion, feeling that he passes to the clients and makes the whole experience soooo different!||Then the games room downstairs where you can spend time playing billiard and other games which makes it a great plan if you feel tired from all the sightseeing of the city but you still don’t feel like going to sleep.||It is also worth mentioning the Vegan café the other Salvator facilities have: a top tier coffee you can feel it is natural and not machine made such as amazing food. We are not vegans but the non-Chicken Popcorn made us feel...

Read moreThis is my 5th visit to Hotel Salvator. It is a 2* hotel that delivers a 4* experience within that standard. The hotel is centrally located a short walk from the Namesti Republiky metro station. It can be reached easilly from the airport in an hour by taking the 100 bus from the terminal to the Zlicin metro station on the yellow line B. You then take the metro to the Namesti Republiky stop. If you are aged over 65, please be aware that all travel by bus, tram and metro is free and you need only carry your drivers license or passport in case of inspection. No tickets are needed.||There is a selection of room types available, ranging from singles to family rooms. All are traditionally furnished and clean. Breakfast can be added to the reservation for a modest charge and the food provided is plentiful and has a good variety. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is traditional Bohemian and very attractive. There is a lift to the upper floors. The price of rooms is fair and a great bargain off season.||The only suggestions I would make would be to find a way to keep the fried eggs fresh (or to have them cooked to order). With regards to the rooms, these are very well heated in winter. I was in double room 7 and the heating in the entrance way could not be turned off, making it very hot for sleeping. There were attic style windows that could be opened and that did cause the temperature to drop to a comfortable level. As some rooms are directly above the street, they are only quiet if the windows are closed. If open, the street noise is very loud as Truhlarska is a very active street. Late night revellers are also very inconsiderate. The rooms above th street at a lower level are very noisy. My suggestion would always be to request a room at the opposite side of the hotel...
