Pizzeria La Ventola — Restaurant in Prague

Worst experience ever. We came to Prague for a weekend and we chose this restaurant because of the food they were offering. Right at the start, we ordered drinks AND FOOD. The waiter wrote our order on paper, and lots of people were coming in after and all were getting food before us (we were waiting for an hour and a half). We asked both waiter and waiteress is everything okay with our order, and both of them ignored us claiming that everything is ok. When we asked them for the THIRD time, they addmited they forgot the order and asked us to repeat it once more AFTER HOUR AND A HALF OF WAITING. In shock, we told the waiter that we were leaving and none of them even apologized to us. We had to pay our drinks even though they forgot our order and left us waiting for nothing. The first thing that I don't understand is that both waiter and waitress absolutely do not understand english language (obviously) but they have a restaurant in the MAIN city of Prague?? Other thing that disguisted me was the fact that they didn't even apologize for waisting our time and made us pay our drinks. We are absolutely dissapointed and disguisted by the behaviour of both of them, it's okay to forget (happens to all of us) but to lie and be sooo rude, we just don't...

When we got there, one of the waitresses showed up after a minute and asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't even had the chance to look at the menu, something she found so annoying that she couldn't even hide it.

After a while, we wanted to order a second serving of drinks with our food, at which point they told us we couldn't get anymore to drink as they were closing - 45 minutes before closing time... She told us that this is because they normally closed at 22, which doesn't really make sense as an excuse as that day closing time was 23. She asked if we could pay right away, and that we could sit there and continue to eat. At that point, I asked if we could get a new serving of soda since we were going to sit there and eat, which they didn't even answer. I think they also added a tip to our order, without asking.

La Ventola is a place I've been to many times although i hate the stuff there. The only thing it saves my visits is pizza with shrimps I am in love with. Although my first visit with friends was so horrible, that we had like three fights with curly waitress that talked to us like we owe her something and came to a dusty bar on the road to drink and fight. Very unprofessional, not mentioning the fact, that we asked for a manager and she said we're looking at one and we were like, ok, fine, nevermind, you're rude, talking to six people like trash. Maybe we got spit in our food, I don't know and I'll never know, but the stuff is rude, unhappy and very unprofessional. I could go on, but the problem is the stuff that even almost never comes up to ask you if everything is alright maybe you want another drink, so me and my friend from then order two drinks ahead so we don't have to wait for a waitress to come after 45 minutes to ask anything lol.
