Friendly and welcoming, don't expect real Mexican food. It is more the Santa Maria's Mexican food experience a bit dull and tastless. Nice, friendly and welcoming service. The waiters where extremely helpful and attending, and we quickly got our table. from order to the starters arrived took very little time, and the starters where definitely the best part of the course. We tried most of them. But not really Mexican food bur more Mexican inspireret food, nachos, cheese and hot wings where quite good, but did lack the Mexican spices and flavours that the Mexican kitchen is known for. Main course, where super boring, the Fajitas came with a very sad and small potion of rice, but the beef and the chicken fajitas where overcooked and tastless and I assume they where reheated in the microwave due the very hard and almost impossible to cut through tortillas. Pollo picante was well cooked but very tastless, and a dull the guacamole was fresh and had a good texture. All dishes where served with a sauce, but again with a very Santa Maria's dull and blend taste. Dessert was good we had both the banana split and the Mexican ice-cream both quite tasty and delicious. All in all at bit tastless and sad sata Maria's Mexican food experience.

Was here on a Tuesday night for Fajitas and beers. As an appetizer we got chips with two kinds of salsa that where really good, fresh ingredients, as well as a salad. For the main courses we had beef and chicken fajitas. The sauce that the chicken and the beef comes in was a sweet BBQ-ish sauce, and quite too much of it. Did not like that. But the side dishes were good, except for the salsa which was I thought was way too sweet. Asked to get it very spicy, which it wasn't at all. Asked for extra fresh chili on the side twice, by the time I got it the food was getting cold.... The veggies in the fajitas were crispy and good, so if it hadn't been for the sweet sauce it would probably be really good.

The foods were truly average and came in a very small size. The prawn fajita has almost 5-6 prawn served with store-bought tortilla, while cost 249 kr!!!!! It comes with a lot of oily sauce and it doesn’t get served in typical iron cast pan!! They have only two type of wines per glass, typical Chardonnay and Pinot noir which we didn’t see the bottle as the claim it’s a house wine!! The service was not excellent and they have forgotten several parts of our order. I wanted to give them averaged 3 star but at the couple of hours after the meal I got stomach problems, so I’ll give them 2 start. The desert was very basic as it was a normal store bought ice cream.

Very very very underwhelming. Not bad, but also not good. I love salsa. OMG...that is why I go to Mexican restaurants to eat good salsa and it was just bad and the servings were so insanely small. Containers so small, they were too small for the chips to dip in. But since the amount of salsa was so small it is a good thing that I could only dip the tip. The extra micro bowl guacamole was made of not quite ripe avocados. All in all a very underwhelming experience. The tomato salsa tasted strongly of Passata, you know the cans of tomato from the supermarket and it looked like it. A tiny bit of taste added… nothing spectacular.

It said “home made” on the menu. That home must have low standards. It was eatable , pleasant enough to finish, not good enough to repeat the order. And I hate these Scroogy , tiny amounts of salsa or guacamole. I felt like I needed to budget the sauce or I would be without dip in the end. Which I was.

I ordered a Mexican shrimp cocktail. The shrimps strangely tasted like that sugary chili sauce from the supermarket with some added cayenne pepper. I must have misunderstood the menu. It said mango salsa, but the sauce element was not there at all. It was mango salad, big chunks of mango with a vague sour added thingy, liquid . Presentation was cute, but served in a very stale, eatable tortilla container. I was also missing the crème fresh but I found it in the end, a whole spoon full in the back , bottom of the not so eatable container. It came in handy. I still had a bunch of lonely chips looking for dip.

Was it bad? No, not really. Was it good? Not really.

The service was friendly. Though as a solo traveller, in a to so busy restaurant, it is always nice if you get the menu presented quite promptly and it is nice if they take orders quickly.

Oh and I absolutely hated it that while paying, they were witnessing how much tip I was adding on the payment devise/ credit card machine. I felt a little pressured...

Came in and the place was pretty packed. Three waitresses were on call but it took them forever to acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated--and when they did, offered to let us sit next to strangers, who declined. After about 30 min of standing while the waitresses slowly cleared the table, and still didn't openly acknowledge us, we were seated. Took quite some time to order on top of never getting a refill of water. When we finally got our food, our waitress forgot our knives --twice-- as well as forgetting our drinks. We ordered the chimichangas that was supposed to come with guacamole but didn't. When I pointed this out to the waiter that we were supposed to get guac on our meal, she looked surprised and went to "ask the kitchen". Apparently there was none left: they could have easily told us this, or at least have discounted the meals. Worst of all, at the end of the meal, one waitress actually managed to DROP her whole cashier on a costumer without even apologizing. Our waitress had to come over and apologize for her, but as far as I know, did not offer anything for dropping a heavy box of machinery on their own costumer. To top it all off, as we paid for our meal they had included the wrong check for our meal. If they ACTUALLY made me pay for extra guacamole and beers, I would have left without paying.

All in all, good food, not great, very expensive for the portions (literally a sauce bowls worth of rice) but HORRIBLE service. I have never experienced a slower,...

I am going to start by saying that this was by far one of the worst experiences I had as a customer before. I went there with other 2 people, and after paying we saw that they had charged us nearly 700 kr for food from another table because the male waiter had messed up with our bill and one from another table. After checking with the waiters and actually seeing that we were right and that they had charged us double than they should, it took them forever to solve the problem, because they had to talk with their manager (who wasn't there), and that they couldn't refund us to the card we paid for because since it was not a danish one they didn't want to pay for the extra fees or that they didn't want to give us the refund in cash for whatever reason, so after messing up firstly the waiter didn't even properly apologize and the restaurant wouldn't even offer to refund us for the whole dinner which is what they should have done from my point of view, and they said that the only way they could refund me was if I gave them my bank account details (which I was hesitant to do for obvious reasons), so yeah so great restaurant that after messing up with our bill the waiter begged us for a tip and then when we wanted our money back we couldn't even choose how to received. Very disappointed and won't neither recommend it nor be back, so please if you go (which you shouldn't) check your bill properly otherwise you won't be getting...
