The nearness of the sea and the Summer vibes at the Broens street food court, made me want to try the moules-frite from Haddock. The shellfish were cooked in a traditional black pot (for which you had to pay a small deposit), contributing to the experience. The handpicked mussels were easy to take out and were of good quality, no crabs or junk inside, and the vegetable stock in which they were cooked was well-seasoned. The food itself was good but quite greasy, definitely good if you’ve been drinking but maybe a bit too heavy if you’re just looking for...
