Edited review: I think it's only fair to acknowledge that things have significantly improved in the past year since the first review. The new location came with fresh staff, new attitude, and the baked goodies are still fingerlicking good. If I am still to complain about something is that sometimes bread is finished to early. But I don't let that bring me down, I just try to do better the next day. :) If i set an alarm for a weekend day, it's to make sure I gets the breads.
Old review: Not the friendliest of services. It always seems like they are asked never to smile in front of guests. On the rare occasion you get someone who's friendly and smiley, but most of the times it seems like you're asking the queen herself for some bread. The coffee is nothing to write home about. But...    Read moreHart has become a Copenhagen institution, and itâs easy to see why. Theyâve got several locations around the city, and no matter which one you go to, the quality is consistent. I was offered a thebolle insteadâŠnot what I come to Hart bakery for. I ask if they can cut some sourdough loaf instead and make a bread and butter sandwhich out of that, they said they donât do that. What?? Youâre a bakeryâŠyou donât cut sourdough and make sandwiches? Itâs almost the definition of a bakery. I ask if they would rather lose a sale and a customer than make a simple sourdough bread sandwich, and they apologized and said they wouldnât do it. Hart has been one of my favourite bakeries since it opened but this was pathetic, to say the least. Reconsidering supporting...
