VÄND AD LIBITUM!!! The food is very good. When we arrived the servant was very nice and directed us to our table, after that we were left there forgotten for about 15min before someone came to proceed with orders, this didn't bother me too much but it still felt like we "didn't matter" (there weren't manny people at the restaurant, I would have understand if it was full). Anyway the orders were made, we had the fix 4 plates tasting menu, so we just ordered drinks (2 IPAs that claimed to be 50cl on the menu and came in glass of wine wich could be maximum 40cl, I think it was 35cl), I also ordered a serving of bread and butter but they brought two (on the same plate so I didn't know it was two until the check came), they asked if we wanted water wich I said no because I new you had to pay for it and I didn't want to. Anyway, none of this bothered me that much because "things happen" I thought... We had our meal, everything was served very nicely, the food was great and well cooked, they explained all the plates, overall a nice experience. Then the check came and I was too naive to trust and simple pay, nothing seemed wrong in it... When I got out and looked through it carefully I found out that we were charged not 1, but 2 bootles of water for 50DKK (around 6.70€)!!! Mind you that I didn't order any water on purpose because I new you had to pay and I don't think it's ok to pay for tap water...... So yeah, this completly ruined my dinner experience and it made me think they just take advantage of us because we were tourist so maybe go somewhere else or beware of...
Read moreVisited in February 2025 during Dining week. The restaurant was well-prepared for Dining week, which was nice to see. The dishes ranged from good to excellent and there was more than enough food. My favourites were the beef tartar and the bread. The mushroom toast was not as good as I expected, mostly because of the texture - the bread part was both a bit soggy and a bit hard - but the taste was good. Service was great, friendly yet professional, and quick. There was plenty of staff and they were paying attention to the customers. This was very nice to see, and is not often the case in Copenhagen. The drinks options were interesting, including a couple of tasty mocktails (and lots of wine, but I didn't have any). The place was nice, but a bit on the loud side, and the tables were rather small and close together. Still, the overall experience was quite pleasant, and I'd happily come back to try their...
Read moreThis Saturday we wanted to try another French restaurant than our favourite L’education Nationale and tried Lalala. Food was great but service really was below what you should be able to expect . We were 3 people and had starters (Oysters , Foie Gras, saumon) and the fish with hummer and a delicious sauce as main course . The food was very tasty but portions were on the small side . With a bottle of champagne and a white wine we spent a bit more than 3000 DKK. Setting is cosy and stylish but service lacks at what you would expect for this price . The table was sticky (yuck!) and the extra (!) ordered bread tasted industrial and we had to ask for an extra plate to avoid eating it directly from the sticky table . The waiters were not from France and did not know the wine menu really well, nor were they really engaged . For this money we’ll stick to our other French...
