Visited in August 2025. We had the "Byens bedste" special menu, which was basically the tasting menu, plus tuna tartare and two glasses of wine. The food was good, but not particularly impressive. From the starters, I really liked the simin and tuna tartare, I didn't like the beans and pickles, and I thought the baba ganoush and hummus were good, but nothing special. The main was also good, grilled mackerel with seasonal veggies and yoghurt sauce. I didn't particularly like the butter rice served with them, but it was in small quantity, so it was fine. The desert was delicious, but it was mostly a lemon pie and I'm not sure where the middle eastern influence was there - I for one couldn't taste the rose, but I'm not complaining, since I like lemon much more.

The place was nice and rather spacious, there was space to move between the tables. The wines we tried were good. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were some challenges with fitting the dishes on the table. Since the dishes are part of a standard set menu, perhaps some thought can go into improving this, for example by changing the serving plates.

Overall, I think the visit to Levantin was good value for money, but for me it was far from the best in town. I wouldn't say no to going back, but I'm not likely to...

We were a group of four, with a reservation, and we had the set menu with chicken. The food was very enjoyable and in general, well prepared and well presented. The concept is that you receive a number of small dishes as a starter, you share the main dish and then each person has their own dessert. Where we felt let down was the time limit on the reservation. This notion of ‘renting’ the use of the table for a certain period seems to have crept in and become normalised. However, the waiting staff at this venue were particularly pushy. The waiter cheekily left the bill and dumped the card machine in the centre of the table and walked away. Needless to say, no tip was left. To the management: please put a stop to that behaviour. What started as a pleasant evening was just made unnecessarily uncomfortable...

We had a lovely dinner this evening. We did the set menu and can highly recommend it.

The dishes were beautifully presented, full of flavour and texture, and the ingredients tasted very fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to returning. We will specially return for the lamb skewer which sounded amazing!

The staff were extremely efficient. Friendly and well organized! I was very impressed with the volume of patrons they handled to the ratio of staff. You can see they’ve been well trained :)

The only two tiny notes were: Pickled dish - maybe could have nicer presentation. Just a few pickled things on the plate looked a bit plain compared to the other beautiful dishes. And then dessert - felt it lacked a little, seemed like a lemon meringue tartlet. Would have loved...

The place looks great and the waiters are really nice. Food is really good as well - amazing oil! The reason behind the low service stars is because when the bill arrived we were a bit confused: - we ordered several tap waters, turns out it wasn’t tap; - we asked for the fried chicken wings, we got the chicken instead, which was double the price; - we asked for a beer and got the more expensive version. I would still recommend the place because the food was really great, but I would make sure to double check what you have ordered and to check the receipts. The waiters are really nice, especially the girl! But I was a bit disappointed at the end of the night, a bit more transparency and attention to the order would be appreciated. The price was definitely in line with cph.
