We were a large group of 38 people, with 30 regular menus and 8 vegetarian. The food was delicious and more than enough. From the starters, the edamame falafel and the hummus were the best, while the tabbouleh and ceviche really shouldn't be called that (not only were they very far away from being tabbouleh or ceviche, they were also pretty bland). Everything in the main course was amazing though, and so was the dessert. If I had to give a rating based only on the food, it would definitely be a 5. Unfortunately, I was not very impressed with the atmosphere and service: we were not given clear indications which tables were ours and which weren't, and then we were served the food pretty slowly, which meant we basically had to be rushed out right after dessert to make room for other reservations. I know it's common in Denmark to be alloted a specific time slot, but it would have been nice to be informed of it in the beginning of the meal, and also to get the food a bit faster, so we would actually be done in time. Plus, the waiters kept having trouble with both space to move around and with space on the table for the dishes. While this is somewhat understandable, it wasn't very professional. In terms of atmosphere, the music was a quite loud and extremely random, ranging from club music to lounge music and with random covers in between. Overall, I would definitely recommend Bazaar for the food, but in a small group rather than for a large gathering. Later edit: came back in January 2024 as a table of two. This time the experience was quite different: the place was quieter, service was great, but the food was less tasty than I remembered. I really liked the hummus, the chicken and the apple sorbet dessert. On the other hand, the pita bread was undercooked and a bit soggy, the cauliflower was tasteless and the kebab was dry. And the small tables can barely fit the tasting menu. Overall, I wouldn't say no to going back if a friend wanted to try it, but I wouldn't suggest it myself.

Why one star rating? Because this restaurant makes you pay 75 DKK per person in order to get water served. And we are not talking about getting served a San Pellegrino or like - we are talking tap water. We even bought cocktails and wine by the bottle - and still have to pay for tap water? And it is not because the cocktails are cheap - I paid 135 DKK for an Old Fashioned!! That level of prices are similar to craft cocktails at places like “1656”, “Duck and Cover” and “Gaia”. And they make craft cocktails - not just mixing a drink. Well overpriced here at Bazaar. My wife and I had a reservation with our grown daughter on a Thursday evening in JAN 2025. They have a nice selection of beverages - wine, cocktails etc. Also the food selection is very fine - either choose the menu that will serve you a bit of everything (Almost) - or you can go a la carte. We asked the waiter which main meats were served for the menu, and went a la carte after that. There were things we wanted to taste that was not on the menu: lamb for instance. So we chose one main each and two “sides”. We also started out with cocktails and got a bottle of wine with the meal. The food was just wonderful! Absolutely tasty! And it was all served family style - so all served at the same time and for all to share. There was enough for all it turned out. Our server was great also - attentive, professional and polite, and not afraid to strike up a short conversation. So if you want a great experience here, stay away from the water and their overpriced drinks.

Around the bazaar menu a bit dull missing out on some of the more interesting plates. Fried halloumi, merquez sausages, padron peppers & bazaar fried chicken all very much worth trying they were the clear winners of the evening. Out of the main course the best choices seemed to lie in the vegetable section with the grilled zucchini & fried cabbage winning out over both the meatballs, chicken and fried codfish. I would very much skip the artichokes as they were the biggest disappointment on the menu, very undercooked with the leaves being tough, fibrous and chewy. The heart was so far from being done that it had to be extracted using a knife. Dip consisted of a mediocre lemon-mayo that served as a poor substitute for a simple balsamic/oil vinaigrette. Service was lacking to say the least, our table took a long time doing orders but had a feeling of being rushed almost from the moment we sat down. Before mains had even arrived we got prompted with a 'you only have one hour left, but don't feel rushed' followed by a good 15-20min wait for mains. Once mains arrived one was forgotten and another was a plain wrong, to their credit they comped both those mains. Cocktails were decent with a good selection of interesting ingredients at reasonable prices. Overall it felt like a far call from any other mezze style restaurants I've eaten at before, wouldn't recommend for anything other than a drink and a few sharing plates.

Good food but constant and annoying pressure from the waitress to hurry up!

Reservation: We were a group of people and reserved a few days in advance via the online reservation system, the restaurant somehow messed up the reservation, did not reply on the phone and at the end we had to go there the day before to finalize the reservation. At the end they told us that our reservation is only for 2,25 hours. So customer service: rating 1 star.

Food: We all ordered the mixed menu ‘a little bit of everything’. It was not clearly described what we will get, so we were ready for a surprise. The food quality was good, the food middle-eastern but not typical from marocco. The kabab (beaf steak) was delicious, but just two small steaks were cutted into slices, so there were just a few pieces per person, the starters were standard, the dessert very small and good, but no choice. All in all, the menu was overpriced. I think I would rather recommend to choose one of the other options on the menu than the mixed plate.

Atmosphere and service: The atmosphere is nice and modern, unfortunately there was no arabic music and it seams the atmosphere is getting cozier later at night (after we were asked to leave because we finished our food). We ordered bottles of wine and lots of food but from the beginning on the waitress was keeping reminding us that our reservation is just for the mentioned timespan. We were again reminded while eating the first course of the menu, then before the main course, etc. I need to mention that we were perfectly on time and left exactly when the reservation ended!!

@restaurant: WE DID NOT FEEL WELCOME AT YOUR RESTAURANT AND ARE NOT GOING TO COME BACK OR RECOMMEND YOU. We paid a lot of money for an very average dinner. The...

When the chef is always right !!!

I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent visit to your restaurant. I ordered a half grilled chicken served with rice, and from start to finish, the experience was shockingly poor — both in terms of food quality and customer service.

First, the rice was clearly undercooked and completely flavorless. When I raised this concern, the waiter informed me that the chef said “this is how it should be.” No apology, no offer to replace it — just complete dismissal. Frankly, the rice was inedible, and I found it baffling that any professional kitchen would consider that acceptable.

Unfortunately, the chicken was even worse. It was visibly undercooked, especially around the thighs — something that is absolutely unacceptable. I flagged this immediately, only to once again be told by the waiter that “this is how it’s supposed to be,” blaming the appearance on salt. This response was not only absurd but insulting. I made it very clear that I have zero tolerance for undercooked poultry, yet no action was taken.

What shocked me most was the chef’s apparent refusal to acknowledge any feedback. It felt as though the customers’ opinions simply didn’t matter — as long as the chef was satisfied, everyone else’s concerns were dismissed.

Despite the unacceptable food and complete lack of accountability, I paid and left — but I will absolutely never return. I’ve never had such a poor dining experience where my concerns were ignored . It’s one thing to have a bad meal, but it’s another to be treated like your feedback...
