Sculptor(s):Einar Utzon-Frank (1888 –1955) was a Danish sculptor. Apart from this statue of Christian X (unveiled in 1954) he was commissioned at the end of the 1930s to recast in bronze the equestrian statue of Christian V — originally erected between 1687 and 1688 on Kongens Nytorv and made from gilded lead by Abraham-César Lamoureux —, which he did between 1939 and 1942. In my mind this Man was true people's King. He didn't care about ocupation forces crawling at the streets of his city and he was just cruising around on his horse everyday giving a hope to the people when he couldn't do more. He deserves this great statue, respect...
